Thanks everybody for your comments, appreciate it. I understand you can use images from stock photo sites but to use such images on a template for sale means buying a ‘bigger’ license which costs £silly.

I’m thinking maybe Envato (or someone similar) could make a site that sells stock photos for all commercial uses. I don’t expect Envato to give us amazing photos for free (although I do feel that creativity here would explode and earn us more money), however, I do still feel they could offer us better photos. I have tried sxc.hu but most of the time the photo owner doesnt respond which (copyright law) maens I cant use the image. Why would I want to search for hours for the ‘right photo’ just to never receive permission.

This isn’t Envato’s fault; it’s the greedy stock photo sites but surely between us (see ‘kevinsturf’ post) we could get some decent photos on here for us authors to use??

With so many rules to the themes how could we ever sell something like my latest design on TF : http://www.robbydesigns.com/temp/int-des/

With all respect to all the amazingly talented designers on the Envato network, I feel creativity is crushed by Envato’s lack of decent images for us all to use. Would you agree?

I think this is pretty simple but I just cant think of the solution.

My client wants the Accordeon to stay open (not hide when you open another part of the accordeon…ie..you could have them ALL open if you like) ...preview here:

Thanks guys, appreciate your feedback. The blue gradient is just a filler for an image fade ie one image fades out, next fades in. I didn’t put an image there because I’m not interested in paying £15+ for one photo with commercial rights for a theme that would sell for all of about £7. The paragraphs at the bottom are purposely plain because it’s a minimalism theme (:

I’ve been playing with a minimalism theme for a few days but not sure how it would go down on TF, here’s a preview, what do you think please?

(Actual theme is full size PSD ).

Thanks guys, still looking for a real coomunity though. Most of these Developer forums get about 1 reply for every 4,000 reads! Yikes.

I’m looking especially for a place I can learn to turn my designs into CSS

Hi and thanks for looking. I’m creating a small sales site to sell a huge collection of Ebooks about twitter (http://www.unleashtwitter.com) but i am having trouble with Paypal whom I want to use as the payment processor.

I added a new email address to my Paypal account and clicked for them to send the email to confirm the new email address but it never arrives. I’ve tried many times now. I’ve set up the domain, hosting and email forwarding okay but still nothing from Paypal; I contacted them but just got a useless ‘cut-n-paste’ answer.

Any ideas?
