Thanks for the suggestions. I think they’re wanting more of a mainstream commercial sound. More in the lines of Aqua’s Barbie girl. That kind of beat and style. (Instrumental or vocal)
Greetings fellow jungle folk. The video production company I do editing for is looking for a track to accompany a product launch video (2:30) The product is aimed at the young funky market. Normally I would compose a track but time is an issue here as they need the final edit asap. The brief requested something “vibey, playful and fun” (I noticed the client is NOT partial to electric guitar driven tracks.) Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
I tried to edit the tags and description of a track. The updates did not show up either after the changes were saved and given the thumbs up.
Welcome – Hope you enjoy your stay
Hopefully this “loophole” in the system gets fixed quickly. Musicians are exploited enough these days – now they’re having their music stolen “legally”
Once you get used to your DAW, you will be able to breathe some life into your compositions. Experiment and have fun doing it. Keep writing music, and keep posting. I’m a newbie on AJ as well, still feeling my way around and learning what works and what doesn’t.. Best of luck to you.
Impossible to choose just one – I like too many genres.
It sounds like a great idea to put previews on youtube. It’s still a form of advertising – “Doing business without advertising is like winking at a girl in the dark. You know what you are doing but nobody else does.”
I started banging away at the piano at a very early age. I didn’t have the easiest childhood, so music became a form of escapism, which I could pour my emotions into, (just like a diary.) To this day, every track I compose, has a little bit of my soul in them somewhere.
Whenever inspiration strikes I guess. As a newbie to AJ I would like to aim for 1 or 2 tracks a month or always have one in the queue at least.
