Reading some of the comments on different forums regarding crysonic, everybody seems to be a bit hesitant. Personally I would avoid them, but that’s just my opinion. How can you take a company seriously when they offer a 98% discount on a website with English that would make a grammar teacher cringe. I just get the feeling that these plugins might be beta versions and haven’t been tried and tested on all platforms and DAW’s. Usually they’re the culprits that crash the computer in the middle of a project. But again, it’s a personal opinion and don’t want to bad mouth a product I haven’t tried. My suggestion is, read all the forums regarding the issue then make a decision. Proceed with caution.
Not only do they steal the music, they try to sell it as their own on different websites and mixtapes. Criminals will do anything for a quick buck. Stick to posting watermarked items, no matter how subtle.
I agree that it compromises the integrity of the marketplace. I have also noticed that the posts don’t last very long, giving moderators an extra headache to get rid of these trolls.
You would think that people would realise that the above mentioned points are kind of obvious. You have certainly explained everything very well. Let’s hope that everyone adheres to them. I’ve noticed the spammers have been very busy on the forums lately. At least someone is monitoring the threads.
I usually beat the hell out of the punching bag at the gym or on the other extreme, compose meditation music. If all else fails, I open a bottle of red wine, and whine along to Celine Dion songs. True story.-( Except for the Celine Dion bit.)
Morons that have upset the applecart by exploiting the system for their own benefit in a dishonest manner. Definitely not cool. I wouldn’t want to do business with the likes of them.
Yip. I’m all for it. It sure will make things easier for both authors and clients. Nice move guys.
