whoops….

really a lot of thinkings…

thanks for your ideas.

in the next days i will spend more time to upload different designs, but that only grows up my portfolio – i dont think – that this brings a lot of attention.

but to relink from other sites – backlinks – to my profile or portfolio – i forgot that idea. thanks for remembering me – thats maybe a good idea.

but on the other hand – after some seconds of motivation in relation to that idea – maybe i should relink that than directly to my site… :-)

best wishes

scortie

rafael oliveira and ikonome…

NO.

That was the reason to open this post…

You can be a “hollywood after effects expert” and post here for your first time…

NOBODY will find you. NOBODY take care about your “good quality”

because

NOBODY knows that you exists,

I see a lot of amazing Artist on Graphicriver – which could work for famous agencies in their business areas – but they have ZERO sales.

Nobody knows them, nobody find them.

scortie

ps: and the “system” i follow you – you follow me is really…well..horrible…

hi i am scortie,

a more or less new seller on graphicriver. i uploaded one file last year to test the plattform and 3 items this year.

unsuccessfully…

i really don´t want to ask “how can i get more viewers” or “how can i grow up my sales” – because everybody knows the answers already… – make a good quality, make something different, post on different plattforms: twitter, facebook, dribble…blabla…get followers and so on…

but i am not sure if that is the “true story” about Big Sales on the envato plattforms here?

because i checked the biggest top 10 sellers on themeforest, graphicriver and so on and see they have sometimes thousands of followers – but after checking their facebook, twitter, dribble accounts – you see they have only some hundrets of followers there. sometimes less, but they sell ten-thousends of items.

i have checked my profil and see – that there nearly nobody see me – means less than 10 views a day…

sure i can upload every day an item or 10 a day or 100 million a day – than i get 2 viewers more…

in my opinion the biggest problem is, that there are too many items on every plattform and i can´t get visable – only with new items for some days…

if i promote on different plattforms my work, than i can make a link to my website and take for the same items maybe more money – then on envato?

so what is the advantage here?

scortie

ps: sorry for so much text, its a weakness from me to write short things – long…

well pixie,

that is the problem we all have…

ask envato to delete the crap designs, means 98% and show only the top 1-2 %, so our items are visable and we get rich… :-) much faster.

i think the best for you is – to make all in powerpoint.

only – backgrounds or pictures – maybe some graphical elements – you can import into powerpoint.

have fun

never ever.

its looking cool, but in practicse horrible to use.

the easiest way are shortcuts and esp. for adobe bundles easy to learn and use in their programs.

scortie

ps: btw, a litte bit bigger shortcut board and i feel like a mig-29 pilot using his cockpit tools…. :-) are there buttons for rockets?

hi ncdesigner,

what a strange question.

well…no.

you can use photoshop for backgrounds or “graphical elements”, which you can put as benefit into powerpoint.

but a professional presenter don´t do that, because he want that his client can use and edit everything in powerpoint, without photoshop or illustrator.

and that means – 99% of the powerpoint templates here are crap.

most designers here are using photoshop and illustrator to build up their flyers and brochures and think – they can build a powerpoint presentation in the same way.

they build their presentation like a book or a brochure – with text, text, text….

they never have presented in front of an audience or face to face to a client. because if they did, they know in one second nobody want to read 40 lines of text at the screen or at the wall.

but here on envato it seems – nobody – take care about that – because the “clients” here buy the screenshot – and if the screenshot is looking nice, they think: wow…that is a different presentation – its looking like a perfect corporate design – but after they have bought it, i am 100% sure they are overhelmed or….they work with that templates and are horrible presenters in practise.

have fun

scortie

ps: sorry for so much text…
