Read up on typography and spacing. It’s a mess right now. Also I don’t think you’ll get accepted into PSD Template category with an ordinary single-page-portfolio design like this. There’s just enough of these already, i think.
Looks good, but I also think it’s too simple for Themeforest. Maybe consider adding some more elements and make it “less clean”. For instance, I think a title isn’t enough here. Add some description, date, etc. Just make it more elaborate and as yurig already said, work on the typography.
Or consider turning it into a HTML/CSS template. It would do good in the site templates category, i think.
what can I say, this has nothing to do with being a newbie. For me, you are just a thief who wants to make money on others’ hard work…and I think that I can speak for all authors if I say that we don’t want such people here, so either come up with your own design, or try your “tricks” somewhere else…
it looks very nice but you must work on typography – sizes, colors, line-height, spacings. I think it have a big potential to be accepted.
it was rejected with common message as it “requires significant improvements” and “doesn’t meet our current minimum technical quality requirements”.
We are wondering if the problem can’t be because big part of theme’s code (html and JS) is taken from this theme http://themeforest.net/item/muza-categorized-portfolio-theme-for-tumblr/4281543 Both themes were coded by the same person although each item is under different TF account (PhantasiaAeterna account is just one man project, this ShakespeareThemes is two persons collaboration – just to make things clear) So I am wondering if the reviewer didn’t considered Othello as plagiarism.
But anyway, thanks for your feedback. We try to make it a little bit “dirtier”
