Congrats man I know that feeling. To do what we love is a blessing that words can’t describe Enjoy those Tam Tams, mine were amazing!
Happy to hear this Phil Congrats!
Congrats Pink Very cool!
So how are you guys liking it? Have you been using it on any new tracks Graham? What about you Jamie? I have had Omni 1 since it came out, I use it occasionally…haven’t gotten around to get Omni 2 yet though. Orb was pretty cool for instance sound manipulation if you don’t really have any thoughts on where you want a sound to go, but I didn’t like how you couldn’t change how orb manipulates soundsource. Orb changes the sound a few different ways but you can’t mess with it at all…did they improve on that?
Hoho! Who could thought that such a sloth like me may become an elite author! And now when I know what pizza buyers like on AudioJunge I can become even more lazy!
But seriously, AudioJunge changed my life incredibly. And it was the moment when that changes were necessary. I no longer have to write something that I do not want to write just to earn my living for one more month. I am no longer uncertain about my future. Now I can develop in any direction, and I have no more restrictions of “adulthood”, no routine, no problems. Thanks to the competition with the great authors and favorable Envato Team.
P.S. My wife’s surprise – an elite cake!
Great post and Congrats!
I’m struggling to come up with a scenario where a buyer would give a flying f * * if an author had complained about reviewers or their sales on the forum.
Well I can tell you this isn’t a private forum where all authors are free to complain about whatever they want to without the potential of a customer stumbling upon it. Customers have problems and questions too about the products that are for sale here and yes they do stop by from time to time.
That is not the point though, the point is to have some respect for yourselves as professionals. Audiojungle should not be viewed in the industry as the place for children.
I haven’t been reading too much of the forums lately so I don’t know exactly how bad it is, but ya…don’t start a whole thread if your track was rejected. NO ONE in this industry will go into detail with you why they rejected your track.
Maybe the best thing to do Adrien is implement a new rule…any threads that are clearly a complaint against a hard rejection will be deleted or locked…just like self promotion or spam.
Is this a statement, a complaint or self promotion?
I love the positive threads that aren’t “Hey look at me…I did this” humble bragging.
Jamie and SoundBevy have it right.
Pat on the back for review team If I could,,, I’d buy em all a round as thanks for a good job ...but secretly just an effort to bride them never to reject any of my future work
Thumbs up for review team, great job guys!! Thousands of authors with all different wants and needs can’t be easy to juggle…special props to Adrien…Leader of the 7 Kingdoms, Defender of the Wall, Lord of the Rings and Jarl of Whiterun.
