Like anything in life, put in the effort and you will reap the rewards. In other words… Yes.
^ but that’s a good thing right? Clamping down on projects that are similar to others.
If you are searching for a niche topic to blog on then ‘design’ is quite possibly the least niche topic you could have chosen. The web is overflowing with design blogs and if you really want to succeed with it then you need to either choose a different more specific topic or add something the other design blogs don’t.
Try narrowing it down a little to an area of design that you are really into, be that character design, video game design or simply design of magazine headers. Either way, you need to be passionate about it.
If you are just starting out in the world of design then why not blog about that, your progress, your learning, your experiences good or bad but you need to stand out. Try illustrating your progress or adding humour.
Wish you every success!

So Christmas is pretty much on the bus and only two stops away and I have yet to buy a single thing. On the plus side, as I do this every year, there is a nice festive nostalgia to the impending sense of fear, panic and ultimately… shame. Ahhh Christmas.
I am sure I’l pull something out of the bag last minute and everyone will be very happy with their gifts but I just wanted to pick your brains and see what you were buying (if anything) for your nearest and dearest.
p.s. this is totally the right place to show off if you are buying your partner a yacht or a horse or a trip to the Moon or something. Although tbh even if you have just bought a carrot and painted your face on it I will still be jealous that you are more prepared than I.
I am thankful that sharks don’t have legs and are confined solely to the oceans and seas.
