I won’t post a link to this but I really need some help with this issue.
An individual has posted my Videohive template on Youtube claiming that it is his. Not only that but within the item description is a link to where anyone can download the ae file for free. This video has been viewed more than 100’000 times and god only knows how many times the file has been downloaded for free.
I submitted a number of requests to Youtube to take it down and the only reply I got (on more than one occasion) was that not enough info was supplied.
I also sent in a couple of requests to the envato support team. My tickets have now been closed but the video is still there and the link is still present.
Any advice/assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I went into my local Apple store on Saturday to check out the new macbooks and my god are they thin! When you check out the spec it is pretty stunning to think there is so much power within such a thin case.
As a freelancer who needs to constantly carry my laptop around with me everywhere this is the best option out there by far.
I will definitely be buying one!
I’v cast my vote already, but just out of interest… when is this meetup scheduled to happen?
London or Birmingham.
One of the best things about buying a mac is that you don’t need to rip it apart and upgrade it with new parts. If you do want to upgrade in the future, macs hold their value so well that once you have made that initial outlay, subsequent purchases are simply that, upgrades.
I just sold my 2010 macbook Pro for £1000 which is way over half of what I paid for it. I couldn’t sell my Windows system which was also two years old as it just didn’t retain any value.
Same money and same specs? Mac for the win…
but… if had to choose between the best mac and this baby (http://www.workstationspecialist.com/workstations/ws_2850/)definitely the second one…and i would never see the sun again… o.O
512 GB of RAM might be a tad excessive!
I got an email from him too. I waited a few days and then he sent me links to where my files were being shared.
I sent those links into Envato support and they were all taken down within 48 hours.
I lost track of the score but it’s pretty clear to see that PC is dominating this!
I find that so so strange though, pretty much every single design studio I freelance for is kitted out with macs and I was expecting a lot more of the motion designers on Videohive to be working on a mac platform.
I started out on a PC but as soon as I could (just about) afford a mac I went and got one straight away. On paper I found similar spec PCs but sat side by side the Mac architecture and OS just seemed to run everything so much more efficiently and was even faster than better spec PCs that colleagues and studios had.
I’m with Vaynah on the question of ‘if PCs and Macs were priced the same, would you get a Mac?’
