You should start with pasting the reason why they rejected it. If it’s because of the design you’re wasting your time and shoulf find a better designer.

Cheers

As both me and Final Destiny just said, this doesn’t need to be the case. Creating a buffer between the moment the theme is accepted and the moment it goes live is the easiest and best possible outcome.

If you agree with what I just said please try to request a staff reply guys, it’s important that we get an official reaction to this.

Hi guys,

Let’s not be like that – there’s no point in “invite-only” and “rejection” of new authors, as I earlier said, perhaps some newbie will be the new “Avada” or something like that, you never know. I know plenty of authors on the marketplace who launch products, get 5-6 sales/product and next week they launch a new one. So age is not equal to skill and design quality.

Nunforest is not far from something “real”. Nobody says that support staff should work 24/7, but it’s SOOOO easy to create a simple stupid php script which pushes things live every X hours (acting like a buffer zone between the moment the reviewer accepts the item and the moment it goes live). This way there won’t be any kind of discussion with regards to exposure times because they’ll all be the same, and this will also limit the discussions of “how long my review took”.

I bet that Envato could find plenty authors around here who would be more than happy to help create this for free so that we can all benefit from it. Why not do that?

That’s ridiculous and SO not the point of my statement. Age doesn’t necessarily mean skill. Somebody new might be 10 times better than you and me both combined so that’s ridiculous.

I’ve had similar 48 hour notices too, so I can’t complain. But otherwise your claim is reasonable.

Hi guys,

Sorry, I don’t usually say anything about the review system and I never say “why doesn’t this get in and that did” or stuff like that, I understand what quality standards mean. But why doesn’t Envato also promote the same type of quality standards?

Accepting 30 WP files only + many others (joomla, drupal, etc etc etc) in 48 hours doesn’t do anything but say “these things are so easy to do that we can get 100 in at a time and nobody would tell the difference”. Is the review process ever going to be soft tuned so that we can see the same kinds of time exposure between items? Friday 2-3 got in, which stayed at the top until Monday noon (GMT), and then all hell broke loose.

I understand that buyers are not affected and Envato’s not affected either, but what about the devs who spend 1-2 months on an item and then see it go away from any kind of exposure almost instantly?

This has been discussed over and over again, longer review times are much better than extremely short exposure times.

Could somebody please give us some kind of reasoning to this process?

@Koev,

Out of curiosity. When your girl is in super hyper mode and you’re indoors and can’t go out, how loud of a noise is she usually making? (things boinking on the ground, her head vs the wooden floors, things like that :)) )

Thanks a lot!

@abhimanyusharma003 – it’s a Corgi. – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_Corgi

@Koev, yeah I know that it’s not good at all to think like that and shit yes, your themes are awesome. Becoming a bit of a workahoolic is extremely easy when freelancing and even easier when working for products for Themeforest. This is one of the important reasons why we want to take a dog because it’s gonna force us to live a better life.

Hehe :)) now that’s some amazing pep talk right there. You should become a motivational speaker :)). It won’t come until August because we need to solve a few problems until July and then have an awesome summer holiday, but right after coming back we’ll take him and I promise to post some pics.

Having to go out daily will be a bliss, at the moment I have times when I feel guilty for going out instead of staying in a work a bit more on the next release :)). (Stupid – and the sad part is that I don’t think I’m the only one around here who does that :)) )
