I don’t know why someone flagged my above post with the list of the 650+ files contained in the pirated package ? Htere was NO link to the site, nor any name of the site etc. So if anyone wants to check this package, drop me a pm and i’ll send the list over.

Doru – the files are REAL and no scam, and my post did NOT mention the warez site. This site does also NOT appear in Google search result if you use any of the file names.

And i won’t argue here any longer about this issue, people can contact me if they care …

Don’t want to create a faq/walktrough here regarding piracy but as trivia: certain website are located in countries where certain laws don’t apply. So sending DMCAs is pointless and a lost of time and resources for authors and envato.

This might apply to most warez sites and the posts / threads where the links to the actual files are posted.

BUT the files itself are hosted on servers from companies located in countries like : Switzerland, Germany, Cyprus etc. and do remove reported / pirated files usualy within 24-48 hours (from my experience).

And as a side note :

Did anyone ever think, how one individual can collect thousands of VH AE templates and AJ tracks ?

Warez sites are for people who will never pay for your file, even if you obliterate every next piracy site you come across. Those people are not buyers, so you should not be concerned about it. If someone is serious about their work they will buy your file appropriately and won’t even think about piracy, so you’re not using buyers, practically :)

You are right of course, but this is not like a warez site where i find a few occasional Envato files, but a huge collection with thousands of files for imediate download which is just not good if these are online for too long !

Envato cannot remove the files… the author has to do it… Because envato is not the maker of the file

I’m sure this is incorrect. We are all paying here to have our files hosted and sold, so i think we can expect some sort of support and protection right ?

Hello All

i know that this isn’t something new, and postings like this will be banned / blocked by mods. But i have found thousands of Envato Marketplace files on one single warez site and asking myself why these are online since quite a while without having them removed by Envato ?

I’m really concerned about the financial loss for all of us authors by this fact. There are various collections to download containing 650+ Videohive AE templates in one single file. The files are online there since 6 months and more, so we can only imagine how many times they have been downloaded and re-shared since then.

If anyone is concerned if one of your files is included there, please fell free to contact me by pm and i’ll send you a list with the files in these warez collections.

I will post any news here if i hear from Envato, or when the files have been taken offline. In case the thread won’t be closed for sure ;)

p.s. i have sent a support ticket with all the necessary informations.

A copy paste of a post I made on another thread talking about the search engine :

I understand the pain of some authors that have their sales going down, especially the one that used to have a lot of sales. But I think Michelle wrote that the overall sales of Audiojungle were growing, which means the buyers are even more satisfied. Doesn’t this mean that the biggest saling item were at that spot just because they were first in the result? Good for the guy who is on the top result but then what is the need of having new items, or just having this huge number of different items on Audiojungle?

It is not encouraging new authors to bring new material. Why bother joining this community when 1% of the authors already make 99% of the business because they trust all the first spots. I don’t blame the quality of the top selling items but they are so much other quality items that are just lost in the marketplace.

As for Google, we know that being well ranked is the key, but for this market place to stay competitive in the long term, it needs that the ranking of the item is based on relevancy to the search and the quality of the item itself. I’m a bit worried when I read that they are some relevancy problem like someone typing rock and have few or none rock item on the first pages => bad experience for the buyer.

I think a good search engine should be a good balance of :

- Relevance to the search => satisfied buyer because he get what he wants fast

- Date of upload => Satisfied buyer because he doesn’t get the same music all the time

- Number of previous sales => reward for the author of having done a good job producing quality item and good marketing

We will see where the new search engine find its balance. I don’t want to sound bitter as I joined this community recently. I haven’t yet uploaded my catalog because I still want to see what Audiojungle’s strategy will be. My day job is to innovate and I have seen so many businesses fall because they rely on pleasing themselves rather than the customers. Time will tell.

To sum up :

=> please the buyer by providing the best experience, which means he find the best item for his project, the fastest possible

=> please the authors by providing a fair way to connect their work to potential buyers, which will provoke a healthy competition on making the best music with the best marketing, thus reinforcing Audiojungle marketplace.

Very well said mon amis de france :)

Leaving the sales numbers aside, if a word (search criteria) is contained in :

  • 1. Track Title
  • 2. Track Description (a few times)
  • 3. Item Tags

and a customer searches with that exact word and the track is NOT listed within the first search result pages, BUT any other tracks NOT containing that search term, can you tell me where the logic is behind that ? How could i then “learn” how to market my items inside of AJ ? It shouldn’t be some kind of Voodoo, just plain and simple results for the words / terms you search for.

Or am i wrong that this isn’t working right now as it should ?

Thanks Guys, Question answered :)

On a sidenote, the VCP E3D license is some of the silliest i’ve ever come across. Or would any DAW (Audio Application and Plugin ) Company ask the author to sell only the editable source file of a song instead of the single layers and parts ? Sure not, and i can imagine VCP would not win a legal case with this “self created” license.

Anyway, respect for their work and great products.

Cheers and thanks again

Daniel

Many great ones allready mentioned.

My Bread and Butter VST (actually AU) is Spectrasonic’s Trilian, as it’s one of the best and easy to use Bass sounds instrument in my opinion.
