Please everyone also support THIS Thread about using a Soundcloud like Audioplayer.

I know, we have discussed in various threads about this isse, but STILL no official statement about future developments. It is in my opinion a realy urgent issue, as the users on “non Flash” devices are growing from day to day (use google analitycs to see what your visitors are using). I don’t see why we authors allways have to deal with “workarounds” to have our Portfolio / Item pages in a neat and working state. I don’t want to embed AJ Radio on all my item pages, and i don’t have the time to change the html blocks in my item descriptions piece by piece (160+ items) manualy.

so PLEASE Envato and Audiojungle, give us an official and reliable timetable of the following developments :

1. Default html5 Audioplayer
2. Default lower html block in item description
3. Revamped search engine

Look at my screenshot above, there would be at least the option to embed the Soundcloud html5 waveform audioplayer. I know, embeding is not what Evvato likes, but you can limit it to Soundcloud widgets for example until the default html5 AJ player has been implemented.

This Thread should get as crowded as possible, so Envato hopefully agrees, that we authors are indesperate need of this 3 points. If not, i will no longer put any effort in threads like that and just leave my AJ portfolio astray (which i really don’t want to!).

I can only agree. The Soundcloud player is the standard to what people get used to nowadays. AJ should not wait for to long until they get rid of that Flash Audio Player. Waveforms with cue points as Schwartz said, is the best option! And as Envato always prays, authors should only go for their best work to upload, Envato should also only reach for the best Money to develop this, should not be an issue i guess

I am working on a new VH Template and would love to support any of you guys by placing one of your (professional looking) music video clips into the placeholders. Due to the theme and look of the template, they should be in the genre of electronic or dance music with at least 100bpm. Looking for a maximum of 6 videos and they have to be under Creatice Common licence

Thats also the problem on my side. I love to create music for Audiojungle, as i do here “just what i want to do”, instead of having to deliver a certain style or product at the end. But this is a t the same time the reason, why my music is not so lucrative here on AJ, because if one would more concentrate on “whats on demand”, you could make more money. But then again, maybe we loose the fun aspect then as well

Whatever, i enjoy everytime when i have time to do something for AJ and see it even sells a few times.

EDIT : Oh yes, and my daytime job is Graphic Designer …. now, don’t ask why i don’t have more Graphicriver items in my portfolio
