Ha, it´s funny to watch. I would like to know how the reaction of the community would have been if we are 98% women on AJ and not vice versa.
Exactly. I was thinking of using pictures of pretty Russian models myself on my own profile and come up with a faux name in an attempt to bolster sales, but looks like someone got there before me! ;)
Exactly! +1

hmmm

A heroic cinematic piece (1:12): http://audiojungle.net/item/the-hero-returns-/2868466

A very atmospheric cinematic track, with lots of breaks and cool transitions (1:06): http://audiojungle.net/item/mechanical-dream/3469026

An intense cinematic piece, with a few different length versions included: http://audiojungle.net/item/the-apocalypse-is-coming/4784518

I’d also love to see this indie pop track put to good use, it’s longer than a minute but it could easily be edited down with a fade out: http://audiojungle.net/item/sailing-to-jupiter/5408160

I hope you find what you’re looking for :)

Watched the trailers for films 1 & 3, they look seriously entertaining and interesting. Congrats Jamie! I will definitely be tracking them down. Are they on any sort of video on demand sites at all to rent?

Hey,

Got a couple of suggestions here.

Quite quirky, a little bit Danny Elfman: http://audiojungle.net/item/trick-or-treat-halloween-theme/2995234

Pretty intense and dramatic: http://audiojungle.net/item/the-apocalypse-is-coming/4784518

A couple of drum and bass loopable Halloween tunes if you want something a bit different: http://audiojungle.net/item/halloween-loop-mix-1/3147573 & http://audiojungle.net/item/halloween-loop-mix-2/3147608

Good luck :D

Sometimes optimizing means arrangement without instruments/sounds playing on vocal frequencies, sometimes it means some equalizing lowering colliding frequencies in music usually 2-6 kHZ. But I don’t know any universal preset for that… it’s like using presets for mastering music in software – very individual case.

Well I’ve learnt something today. Cheers :)

I mean creating version of track with equalisation of part of original spectrum with aim to clear it for voice.

I may be completely missing something here but what do you mean by voiceover optimized? From my experience, I don’t do anything to music that’s going to have a voice over, as the film editors just automate the volume themselves. For adverts and things I know ducking is used.

Ah I see! :)

The transition from Garageband to Logic makes sense, although as a seasoned user of Logic Pro 9, I’m not a fan of X, but you may like it. I know tons of film/tv composers that use and highly recommend Cubase, so maybe check that out too?
