Some very catchy tunes in there, unfortunately I can’t understand the words but the music sounds pretty great. Good work! :D

@SoundFix yeah no problem man, forgot to mention by the way – for bandcamp – : you must correctly tag your album in terms of genre and use as many as you can which you feel are related just like here on AJ ;) They have a great tagging system for maximum exposure etc. There’s a new service called Distrokid.com by the way which I believe was endorsed by founders of bigger ones like cdbaby (can’t remember exactly where I read this). Using it currently to distribute to all major online outlets (amazon, itunes, spotify, etc). Can’t compare it to other services as I haven’t tried any of them but from my view uploading etc went real smooth so you might want to look into it before going with one of the bigger ones in terms of pricing also.

Oh I love a good old tagging session haha ;)

I will definitely check out Distrokid.com, thanks! :D

I have my 3 albums on bandcamp. But nowadays I see that many bands choose Deezer and Itunes.Im really dont know how it works.
Thanks for sharing man. Yeah, I have been reading about aggregators that can get your music up on iTunes and stores like that for a certain fee, as you can’t upload unless you’re a label or something, so I may look into those.

Yep, I used one of those.

I had an instrumental album that I just wanted to get out there, not necessarily to make money…but not to give it away either.

It came down to Tunecore vs. CD Baby at the time, and I went with CD Baby because it was a 1 time payment…as opposed to a yearly fee.

I’ve been happy with CD Baby. You choose the different “outlets” you want your music on…iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, etc. And all sales/streams show up through your dashboard.

I also put it on BandCamp.

Of course, this was all 3 years ago…and I’m sure there are even more options now!

Good luck :)

Thanks for sharing your experience bluexmusic :D I’m definitely gonna put it on Bandcamp, just gotta look more into these other options.

Well, this is definitely vastly different, but it is catchy, repetitive and rhythmic so it could work as game music :)

As an artist with a couple of releases under his belt I can definately say Bandcamp is a superb outlet to sell your EP. It’s a website driven by people who actually still buy albums even if they are just “digital”. Great place to start and even collect some fans and sales. Try it!

Thanks for sharing Blue! I am going to! :D

Definitely a contender for my favourite song of all time. Goosebumps big time. ‘Nude’ performed by the best band in the world, Radiohead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSkTygQ7_qY

Definately this one – waltz written by Sir Anthony Hopkins https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LGVGekPSzo

Everytime I hear this piece it reminds me of the Harry Potter theme by John Williams. Lovely piece of music and what a talented guy Mr Hopkins is!

Brian of Color Theory writes about his findings on being an independent artist and promoting himself. He writes but both successful and unsuccessful ventures. Often tries different services that’s available out there. Check his site out http://colortheory.com

He also runs Passive Promotion. Which is a site about set and forget type of promotion. http://www.passivepromotion.com

Some good info on both sites.

Thanks very much for the info. I’ll check out Brian’s site! :D
