Just had a thought which may or may not be complete rubbish…
What if for a track the comments went under the similar/more tracks bit? Then potential buyers can quickly see them without having to click to open the separate page…I haven’t thought this through much but seems reasonable to me and might make the information easier to see/find etc
I personally think that the music just shouldn’t stop playing when you click on the comments tab. The fact that it’s a tab, to me anyway, gives the impression that you’re not leaving the music behind, except you are. It would be great to be able to comment whilst listening to the track.
Just wondering why it’s necessary to zip a single mp3 or wav that you’re uploading, I thought zips were invented for folders…
You don’t zip an individual file, where would you get that idea? You zip both the MP3 and WAV together, that’s the whole point.
Now go write some music moany joe
(sorry other AJ dudes, I just can’t help but reply to this wind up merchant haha)
No.1 Rule: Never go on the forums when under the influence haha
Worth a shot yeah, if re-recorded and mixed. Rock music may not be as desired as corp stuff here, but there is definitely a market.
I know you don’t want comments on the sound but I have to say the performance really needs tightening up before it can sound good, especially when producing that style of music, it’s all about good timing.
So much support in the comments of that article! Good luck dude
RomanosMusic saidI don’t agree. $17 is VERY inexpensive especially compared to other royalty-free sites. If someone can’t afford $17, perhaps they should make their own music for the project. The authors here pour thousands of dollars and hours of work into their music, and the music is constantly getting better and better. We definitely don’t need anyone else undervaluing it. Just my two cents.
I started uploading as the price increase happened. Timing wasn’t good. I think that $17 for a track has scared off potential buyers, even though its still quite reasonable for production companies, its heavy for the one-man freelancing guy. Here’s to hoping things will improve.
Could not agree more! How is $17 “heavy” for a freelancer? haha, that’s ridiculous.
MartijndeBont saidDamn I’ll have to talk to them about that because they have no idea what they’re missing by not allowing that.
You can’t upload free-to-download music to AJ. For this matter it’s better to use sites like Soundcloud or your own website (if you have one).
Who are you and what’s your expertise? You seem to know a lot. What are AudioJungle missing exactly? I’d really like to know!
