But I didn’t want to get greedy, so I decided that, first 100$ I make, I will give to charity.

Firstly, no! Charity starts at home. If you’re family are struggling to get by with just 1 of you having a job, then use that money to help your Mum out and buy some food, pay some bills, anything. Don’t give away the first bit of money you earn.

Secondly, congratulations on your success so far and I hope it motivates you to write more and earn you and your family more money :)

No one collabs anymore these days? how sad
Maybe not when you just want someone to use for their expensive sample libraries, but people do still collaborate here yes, look at Jamie Blanks and Graham Ball as a good example.
I don’t understand, I never stated “I just want to use someone’s sound libraries”, I said I want to work with someone to make the song professionally better and able to be accepted which doesn’t revolve around me just fiddling with mixers and equalizers.

You did actually:

“Basically I have a couple songs I’ve already composed/midi-sequenced using FL studio 10, but I don’t have any good instrumental plugins or realistic effects and probably won’t for a while. I’m wondering if someone will want to essentially work with the songs to make them sound professionally awesome and acceptance worthy. Realistic instruments I would need are piano, strings, trumpet, maracas, and basic percussion. “

Looks fine to us – are you sure your browser is not zoomed? One thing – I am pretty sure Pinterest would not be too happy about you using their “P” logo for your branding on a marketplace where you are earning income

+1. I thought that ‘P’ looked familiar haha. Very cheeky

Send them the AudioJungle license terms, that explains everything. Hopefully that will be sufficient for them.
I tried that and in the past it was enough but apparently this time it is not enough. I even sent them an email I got from Envato support stating specifically it was ok to post my end product on YouTube and it still is not enough.

Apologies, I missed that when reading your original post. Well I hope this gets sorted soon for you as I imagine a lot of people are going to be running into the same problem and will need a solution.

I have purchased quite a few audio and visual elements from Envato and am very thankful for this site. A few months ago I turned on monetization as it was my understanding that the envato license allows for it since the viewer is not charged to view my creation. YouTube has required me to prove that I have the license and I have sent them the link to Envato’s license page but now it seems that is not sufficient. Now they want documentation from the author as stated below:

The written permission should either be a contract between you and the rights owner, or a letter from the rights owner stating that you are permitted to use their content commercially. Elements you may want to include in this documentation include:

Explicit permission to use the rights holder’s content commercially. Limitations/conditions concerning your use of content specified by rights holder, if applicable. The URL of your video or, if you use the content in multiple videos, your channel name. Electronic signature with date (this can be as simple as the rights holder writing out his full name at the bottom of the document).

Does Envato have any documentation that I can use? Do I need to go to the creator to get this written permission? Has anyone else encountered this?

Send them the AudioJungle license terms, that explains everything. Hopefully that will be sufficient for them.

Hi there, 3 days for a submission to be reviewed is a ‘stone-age’ time, don’t you think? And still waiting for it to be reviewed! c’mon!

Who are you to judge? What exactly are you comparing the review time to? ‘Stone-age time’, what does that even mean? There weren’t stock music sites in those days haha :D

I read this part of the license several times, and I know technically speaking the “end users” are not being charged to watch a free YouTube video. BUT, the grey area is that the indirect money I’d be making off the ads makes it “seem” like an end user is being indirectly charged. But technically speaking they are not. Correct?

Correct! It doesn’t matter if you’re making money or not, you could even use a regular license for a TV advert.
