In short: PHP is a server side scripting language. It is most commonly used together with MySQL (database) to generate dynamic web pages.
I’m not really good at explaining these things, but I’ll try to give you an example of using HTML , PHP and MySQL together: You have a website with an input box where you ask visitors how do they like your new site. Below there are displayed three randomly selected submitted opinions. When someone submits their opinion, it gets sent to the server and PHP writes it into the database. When someone visits your site, before the HTML is sent to your web browser, it is generated by PHP on the server – in this case it looks into the database, randomly selects three opinions, “writes them down” and then sends that generated page to your web browser.
But really, you don’t need to worry about that. Themes have plenty of user friendly options for customizing almost every aspect of them and knownledge of HTML or PHP is not required in order to use Wordpress and themes.
I see your current web site is static HTML based. For a start I’d suggest you to install Wordpress and maybe try out a free theme or two, if you haven’t done this already. Themes that you’ll find on Themeforest are usually more feature-full than free themes and have a very good documentation on how to use their features.
I’m not familiar with Godaddy, but many hosting providers usually have an “easy install” option for popular frameworks like Wordpress. Once you install Wordpress, installing a theme is not very difficult. However, if you decide to customize the theme more than its user interface allows you to, you will have to edit PHP files, so some basic PHP knownledge wouldn’t hurt.
I used to get angry with reCAPTCHA too sometimes…
But once I got to know the other purpose they serve, I actually take time now and try my best to solve them correctly. In short: by solving reCAPTCHAs you’re helping to digitize books. Here’s more: http://www.google.com/recaptcha/learnmore
rover5 saidFirst 25 pages of stock footage sorted by date, all by the same author… Wow!!
I guess the system has difficulties to handle the mass upload. The user with the three footage places on the front page got several hundred clips approved lately.
I feel so small…...you are continuously refreshing your author dashboard page and at the end of the day your progress bar gets stuck at 99% and you realize you’re in for another night of uncertainty whether or not your items will be approved.
I must say however, the progress bar is moving much faster these days on the VideoHive.
When uploading stock footage on VideoHive I don’t see any changes – the form looks the same. Is that intentional?

What you can’t do is add a description of the project and go like this: smooth, animation, text, dynamic, project, etc. This is what i saw in a item description on videohive.
Extra tages: video, smooth, text, 3d, project, placeholders, etc.
He had about 50 extra tags in his description.
Yeah, well. That’s because you can edit your item’s description without having it to be reviewed. Sadly, some people abuse that feature.
Hahahah, no way!
So original!
It depends on the marketplace. For example, on PhotoDune and AudioJungle you can have up to 30 tags if I remember correctly…
Ok. I’m looking forward to it.
