My congrats! Why not to write back in a week to share the results of being a Featured Author of The Week?
@TommusRhodus Thank you for the advice… We’re learning as we go along!
Still, I wouldn’t like to cause anybody unhappiness for the sake of $40 – I’ll pay $80 for somebody to give me a smile
I was looking at a theme which I liked, I noticed that there wasn’t any select support for WooCommerce. When I asked in the comments they said it was integrated and fully supports WooCommerce but just hasn’t been tested. Well I purchased the theme and found out that it is not integrated and there are no plans to integrate it. what to do?
I suggest you do what you would usually do with every product that you buy from anywhere.
You tell the author “I am not happy” and ask for a full refund.
If they do not offer you the service you are expecting and they refuse to issue you with a refund, then you rate them 1 star and take Dzinc advice.
As for authors rating their competitors poorly… if that’s being done, I agree that is even more despicable. However, I don’t see how anyone could have any proof of this. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Sorry, I am nobody to correct you nor implying that you are wrong but I’d like to clarify:
Are you saying unless you catch the thief red-handed, you will keep your safe unlocked?
I personally would lock the safe at all times and put a CCTV camera, too!
Victim or not... this is just not acceptable when you do not know who or specifically why!
Buyers – anywhere on the web – do look at rating and are more interested in reading actual feedback rather than just staring at stars.
Surprisingly enough, ThemeForest knows that feedback helps improve a service but they decide to keep it to themselves.
I’m not sure what ThemeForest is contemplating and why they are not putting this right. There is no need to reinvent the wheel, just check Amazon rating, Ebay feedback or the like and give authors and buyers a similar mechanism.
In my ThemeForest account as a buyer, I have over 30 themes that I have purchased in the last couple of years… Am I really allowed now that I am an Author to go knock them all down with ONE star just because it serves my purpose?
You can set any page to be your homepage from Settings > Reading settings
Hope this answers your question?
Hi Prestazilla, bottom line is that it needs a graphical facelift and you’ve got to accept it with a smile… Put some effort into it and you’re there.
All the best!
