Great submissions, guys! Loved listening to them all!
This doesn’t look like it gives the new items a chance to stick like the last search engine… it’s an obvious step back. Sometimes you need to step back to move forward better. I, too, think they are just running some tests.
Hahaha! Wow! Excited to see you in a huge lead in the #1 spot on the popular files page this week. That’s crazy.
Interesting findings! Thank you!
Great news! A much needed fix. Thank you.
Definitely an author to be admired! Much deserved. Great job!
It consisted of many highs from the start: One year ago, our first song (and top seller) got approved here on AudioJungle, which helped us to achieve the #1 spot on “Top New Authors” for November 2012. On Christmas day of last year, our best selling Christmas song was the featured file after an uproar about another file chosen to be featured that was a close direct copy of a popular song on here (anyone remember this?? ) After Christmas day, our top seller was then featured through the rest of January.
Then some lows: Half way through this year, there was quite a lull in sales. It’s unexplainable. This site can be a mystery and those trying to figure it out and find themselves confused and frustrated at times are not alone. Hang in there.
We enjoy being a part of this community and hope for continued growth. Of course everyone is hoping for the best growth and to reach the top. If we’ve learned anything, it’s that time is your best friend. Be patient. The cream rises to the top. We’re on our way now and drawing ever closer to that coveted silver paw. Thank you for helping us hang in there.
Do good work.
The Story Shop
ZtarrZound saidI noticed that too! That particular track shows up on page 1 for almost all ‘epic’ related searches. He must be doing something good
Weird…..the first result for “Action Trailer” is a Dubstep track. lol
It’s because the song is brand new. It looks like the new algorithm gives priority to new items.
Fun song to listen to!
The problem, I’d say, isn’t in the production as it is in the composition. 1)The lead synth at the beginning and end doesn’t contain much structure and seems a little all over the place (some notes not matching the key the song is in). Not to mention, that particular synth is your least interesting synth (much more interesting-sounding ones come later!) and so leading with it from the start, isn’t the best idea. And 2) AudioJungle is looking for background music. This is a song that is so cool that it’s asking the listener for it to be their main focus. People using AudioJungle are buying music to subtly enhance their videos, not take it over.
Just some helpful (I hope) thoughts. Fun song though! I wish I was good at writing this kind of stuff.
