Hello everyone,

I’ve been in “hiding” for a few months while working on something pretty cool. It’s an automatic support system for all Vanilla based forums. I’m looking to test it further (obviously reviewing it’s responses before allowing them to send, at this stage in development) and so I need an author with 1-3 themes who has a Vanilla based support forum.

I only need a single author for this, and yes I will charge a fee for it (much cheaper than paying a human of course) as I’ve put a lot of time into it.

Anyways, if you’re an author and are interested, email me via my profile page and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can ;)

typing and testing…. nope dont see it same specs… but will say Safari 6 seems unfinished almost a lot of bugs

Agreed – I love reader and a lot of things about Safari but these minor design issues are killing me!

See here: http://cl.ly/image/012g2u1P253C – look at the right side of the comment box. It’s only when it’s focused I believe. Also I’ve heard Apple is aware of it – it was reported to a level 2 support guy who reported it to software engineers.

I noticed on elements with rounded corners, the right side appears broken. As I type in this box the right edges look messed up. I’m on Safari 6.0 on Mountain Lion 10.8.1.

Anyone else seeing this issue?

Thats a point i was gonna ask other devs, i always used to use 11px and lately been upping it to 12px. Wonder what the average recommended at least for clarity is.

12 is okay for meta, 13 is good for say a menu, and for main content (say, content on a blog) I really recommend 15 or 16. This is the best in my opinion.

Also, one more thing that annoys me is not something wrong with the macbook – web developers! I used to think “Who cares about sticking to a 960 or 1000 grid? Pointless, everyone has a higher resolution!” And yes, I do have 1440×900, however I like to keep my browser window at 1024 (Default width) because I feel more comfortable having all that white space (or I guess you’d call it “galaxy space since I have the default ML wallpaper) around my browser.

Also starting to hate 11 pixel fonts. It’s bearable but when I go to a site and the main content is 11 pixels, I can’t read it from a “laptop” viewing distance. Every web developer should have a laptop so they can understand the frustrations and SOLVE the problems.

This is your THIRD thread relating to this same request. Spamming will get you nowhere. Try signing up at a site like freelance switch and you’ll probably have better luck.

nitrogen cooled macbook.
Sadly that would not be enough for my 1st gen Air
What spec is that?

Would be a core 2 duo – wouldn’t be surprised if he’s getting 200 fahrenheit.

I know you should not need what I’m about to say, especially for a expensive laptop but compressed air in a can, turn it upside down and spray the bottom…. wow, it gets cool fast! I believe its compressed nitrogen or something like that so when you turn it upside down you get liquid coming out not air.

Pretty sure they’re not made to run in antarctica level conditions, but I’d love to see someone build a nitrogen cooled macbook.
