YiorgosT saidOh, I think thats me.
My theme was reviewed by someone in Malaysia using a small MacBook and he/she only had a single page view (i.e. the homepage). So basically, if your homepage does not have enough bells & whistles to catch the reviewer’s attention in the first 10-15 seconds you’re outa here.
I remember once I had a very similar experience. At first it made me to look into my log files to find out who and how was rejecting my theme… And yes, I was very frustrated too.But after a few weeks I became very thankful for that quick rejection because it made me to learn so much and I’ve found out that my item was a great set of imperfections
Thanks for the kind words ImanGM!
Not much was changed, the only “big” changes we made were adding body background image, fix the style in the contact form and make the main menu bar float when the page is scroll down.
Agree with @GJ-Designs and honestly I think your file wasn’t ready to be accepted yet. There are a lot of design flaws and just doesn’t seem a premium template like every theme should in here. You guys talk about quantity and quality, but in fact this is a good example of quantity over quality that envato should prevent. When you get a hard reject, take your time to be critic about your work. Improve. There’s a reason behind rejections.
Well it was finally approved yesterday . Thanks for the feedback.
Hi, honestly your template is really missing a lot of things. Just surf and compare you template. I would never buy it because it has almost nothing ? TOO SIMPLE. There are so many missing things. You havbe to work on it. Regards
Thank God you’re not a reviewer then . Got 2 sales from this theme in the first day.
I love the design, it looks simple
1. The padding too height http://puu.sh/bIOmZ/4cbd525f38.jpg 2. What purpose of this icons http://puu.sh/bIOpv/d013eb1a06.png 3. I couldn’t find the post title, category. 4. http://puu.sh/bIOva/dc71a0de8f.jpg 5. http://puu.sh/bIOw9/f8560cd451.jpg 6. http://puu.sh/bIOx0/530bba6ea3.png 7. http://puu.sh/bIOAR/17f702f0b5.jpg... etc, a lot of things you should make it better.
Seems like there’s some issue with your connection mate, we didn’t experience any of those issues.
With all these authors complaining about sales and not a single word from the Envato staff on this thread.
August was already dropping but September is even worst! Our latest WP theme was released at the end of August.
TF traffic is dropping due to bad SEO practice or is it because too many multi-purpose themes priced almost the same as regular themes?
to be honest nih om… themenya keliatan terburu-buru ngerjainnya…
there are few text that couldn’t rendered.
The topbar’s shadow is evil om… you shouldn’t do that :D…
And also, our latest theme in envalabs just got hard rejection. Though we have 4 demos and using visual composer which is really stable to create “multipurpose” theme hahah…
Can you tell me which text that couldn’t be rendered? All text are rendered just fine from my end.
Thanks for the suggestion regarding the box shadow, will consider to remove it on the revised version mate.
ThemeWarriors saidwell, yes. is too generic and doesn’t look like a premium product.
you think our theme deserved a hard reject…? .
I’ve been soft rejected before and even a hard reject. I usually can accept it pretty well but not with this one.
My question to TF reviewer is why a simple blog theme that has a lower design quality compared to our item got approved while ours didn’t. I wont mentioned the theme name in here, just browse to Blog / Magazine category then search for a theme that was released on September 16th.
Our previously approved item was soft rejected, one of the reason mentioned was because the main stylesheet doesn’t have Table of Contents, ok so we added Table of Contents to the stylehseet and our theme was finally approved.
What made me confused, I saw lots of items that was approved after our last item didn’t even have Table of Contents in their main CSS file!
