Bad beginning of a track! It is necessary to make the beginning brighter and pure, without mixing! I think there will be good sales after changes.
You said the exact same thing here – http://audiojungle.net/forums/thread/my-latest-track-and-a-golf-connection/151529#1180031
The internet is a dangerous place. These attackers have hurt Sony pretty badly. The only funny thing is that loads of people will want to see this movie now, it’s got so much publicity and the controversy and intrigue will only add to peoples curiosity. The worst problem I see here is that if attacks like this will effect whether the industry wants to fund potentially offensive films in the future, then this is working as a kind of censorship, which is very bad.
I think this track has plenty of potential, I actually quite like the melodies. Reasons I think why it was rejected: the brass is a bit mechanical, it could sound more like real playing. The drums are too mechanical, the snare is nasty sounding during the drum breaks, like just “bang bang bang”. It doesn’t sound real. Probably too many symbols as well. At times there needs to be more of a highlight in the arrangement, sometimes everything is competing with everything else. Probably the brass should be the louder part, since it’s the lead instrument in the arrangement.
Toivo how did I offend you? It wasn’t my intention, on the contrary. Is “philosophically inclined” bad ? I said that half in joke and half meaning it but never did i think that would offend you, I really didn’t. I didn’t upload new version without fade-out because I don’t have one and I’m busy with other tracks but I heard you and I thanked you, even improved tags according to your suggestions.
No problem, carry on.
There’s definitely hope for your playing, that solo was cool although a bit wild. There wasn’t much to the composition though, just a bit of melody and then a blazing solo. The sound on the rhythm guitar was quite garage sounding too, not in a good way.
I love this track! It has such a great atmosphere, I love these kinds of tracks that are all about the overall feeling they create just with their ambience. No idea if audio jungle want these kind of tracks, but you’ll find out when it gets reviewed. This kind of thing would be amazing as a film soundtrack, so I hope you get to work on projects where you can explore this kind of style. I just imagined it on a fantastical dream sequence or a cool sci fi movie. I would have favourited it on soundcloud but you can’t favourite private tracks.
