I think it should be fine to leave the field blank. Or perhaps try to add some jokes to the reviewer instead of the plain message? ;)

Does this extension work on the item’s comment section? I couldn’t see the can icon in there. I only see it in this forum comment box. Any idea? :|

I guess the returned array is empty? So when you are trying to get the value of the “term_id” property (or the others) from the empty object, it throws the error message.

Try using the if block to check before the foreach as:

if ( !empty( $terms ) && !is_wp_error( $terms ) ){
foreach ( $terms as $term ) {
...
}
}

More info here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_terms :)

Actually when an author is submitting the theme update, there is an optional checkbox whether to let the buyers get the notification email once the update is approved.

In your case, I guess the author didn’t select that checkbox.

Personally I wouldn’t trust until I can prove that he is a buyer by either his “purchase” badge or verifying his purchase code (you can install Dashboard Plus extension for the purchase code verification feature right on the author dashboard).

I see that you told him your email in the comment. Did he send you again the purchasing info?
