I am sorry if I insulted you in any way, that was not my intention. Also I didn`t said anything bad about your item, I actually liked it and I know that you have put a lot of effort in creating it.
If you have read my previous post you can find that I told you that one of the factors in the item price is resolution. Item that you are pointing to is rendered in 4096×3112, that`s why it has a much higher price tag.
I just wanted to be friendly and to give you some insights, and yeah, I am not niether reviewer or any kind of genious.
First of all really nice simulation/item, congratz on that. And second I think that you have really fair price on your item.
Reviewers usualy take few factors when they are putting price tag on the items. Some of them are category, resolution, duration and number of clips (in case that you re uploading pack).
They don`t really consider time spent of preparation, modeling, animation , rendering etc. So you can do MoCap, simulate in RealFlow and then render in VRay, witch altogether takes tons of time, it simply doesn`t matter. I am not saying that this is wrong, it is actually kind of standard in stock business.
In the end price of your item can be bumped by few $, but that`s all.
Imagine that stock photography is valued and priced by the price your gear. Than guys that owns some high end DSLRs and high-end lenses would have astronomical prices of single photo.
Just my 2c.
2nd one is in 4k. I guess that is why the price i s bumped a bit.
P.S. StrokeVorkz was faster
Just my perspective… all the milestones set by Envato are for the benefit of Envato itself. They make announcements and posts for the marketplace’s promotion – indirectly. They know that 25 Million milestone is not something possible for next 5 years (or even impossible) but they will have such thing on showcase for a delusional encouragement – raise the image of marketplace. This is why a common milestone is useless. If your own goal is even small and you managed to achieve, that’s the great thing. Share it with family, friends and community. They may understand better than a marketplace bureaucracy.
Amen to this.
Use red colour option. Cheers.
Sorry then, my bad. I remember one forum discussion from a year ago, but I guess that they have changed automation process.
P.S. Little bit off-topic, sorry.
I think that is really bad to not have any kind of official statement or information of how to compress/encode video previews. Or if there is some link to it, please enlighten me. Thank`s.
Also if I remember well not all previews are compressed in the same way…
I guess that you are wrong. No matter what`s your video bitrade, VideoHive automatically accommodate that to their video standard.
And from time to time it happens to me also. Video previews tends to be really slow. Shame, marketplace that has tons of autors and buyers and havily relies on video previews shouldn`t allow this kind of issues.
Imagine if VideoHive sometimes in 2019. starts to stream/play HD videos, that will be slow as hell.
