I feel for you ilovemedia-es as you would have had no way of knowing this new rule was in place.

Really, to be fair, this could have been widely announced before they jumped on you for doing this. There are many successful AJ authors openly offering this service on their profile pages so it seems a little unbalanced to prevent you from offering customisation after sale via a zip file intended for people who have purchased your music only. Seems like a fair way to promote this service after the sale has been made.

I have deleted the reference to item customisation from my profile page after reading your post as I strongly feel that rules should be the same for everyone.

Best JB

+1!!! I got a soft rejection too regarding to this matter. A better announcement of this would have been very helpful!!!

Ohh is that bad??! I really need to try it… Some people told me they got good results, not optimum, but good results.

Hope you get well soon my friend! I used to play in a hard rock band and after every presentation I had this high pitch noise in my ears for days! I started to use ear plugs for the performances, and although at the beginning was a little uncomfortable, I get used to them and the noise was gone for ever.

I haven’t try this out yet, but for sure I will soon! But please take a look at this and let me know what you think…: https://www.landr.com/

Have any of you tried already? What would you say?

In that one is hard to say, at least for me, But what I usually use is a glockenspiel or a toy piano.

I’m talking about this:

http://snag.gy/zRiLf.jpg

Everyone here may not have bought an item on VH so this may come as a surprise, but here’s some pretty nice opportunity of exposure for a selection of AJ items. Right after the purchase, there’s a nice big page with recommendations. It goes “You might also like:” – and then the usual suspects, the all time AJ best sellers. Now I think most community members would agree that the top selling music items already have their fair share of infinitely looped exposure. While there’s a good point in recommending good, trusted items – especially to new buyers on the Marketplaces – I really do believe we can extend the scope outside these “goldies but oldies” now. These are tracks from 2010, 2011 and 2012 – are we really saying there’s not been any good music uploaded since then?

Maybe increase the scope of favouritism and juggle the selection just a bit, include the “Featured” ones or add a date filter that at least keeps it fresh. These 5 songs are constantly being pushed, bought, getting in the “popular files” evidently by merit of being stuck in a marketing loop. No other track will ever get a spot. It’s quite annoying really. Is it just me?
+10000000 and as Toivo said, it could be taken from the weekly top sellers or something like that…
