chrismccoy saidI make an average of $45/mo with about 4 referrals. If AJ is only promoting >$20 items, I’d say he can almost make half a living off it
did you make a decent amount of $$$ off first purchases?
Yes, Themeforest pays my rent from the referrals But I also refer TONS of people to other theme sites which some even convert a bit better. Which is why I mention this as a way to help encourage more people to promote Themeforest as opposed to other stores.
People can possibly abuse the system, but it doesn’t have to work by the number of referrals but more like the Top author works…It can be done with $ earned via referrals.
Anyway….I just released my first solo theme here, so if I can get on the Top Authors list some day that would be just as great
Wow AJ, 2000 users referred users is amazing! (Thought I was doing well at 386… :)) Even a page like Top Authors for referrers would be a great addition and motivation.
- Oh ya. Top affiliates, that would be cool. It would be nice to encourage people to promote TF more then the other theme market places
So, is Elite Affiliates a possibility? We are important as well
You can submit a support request asking why your template was rejected. The review team is really great, they will get back to you.
$content_width is generally used to assign a maximum width; this is especially useful for setting the max-width of embedded videos. This is a global variable of WordPress and is generally found in any recent theme added to the WordPress Extend repository.
It’s also used by Wordpress to set the intermediate image sizes in image_send_to_editor. The “large” image size will be set to the value of $content_width.
Crap. I meant to click on reply with quote, but I think I flagged your Forum message. I am sorry about that.
Anyway, what I was saying was thanks for moving the tread, I don’t use the forum much so I didn’t know there was a section for that
