WPExplorer, ofcourse not, he need to load an array of Google Fonts.

No I mean. You should add all those font options into the theme panel, period.

You shouldn’t be loading every Google Font imaginable into your themes option panel.

Here is a non-abusive method for fixing up those shortcode issues:

function wpex_fix_shortcodes($content){
    $array = array (
        '<p>[' => '[',
        ']</p>' => ']',
        ']<br />' => ']'
    );

    $content = strtr($content, $array);
    return $content;
}
add_filter('the_content', 'wpex_fix_shortcodes');

Just as a heads up, support is not required. Authors go out of their way to provide support for their themes.

When you purchase a theme you really should have an understanding of how WordPress themes work and if you need any modifications know how to do so or hire a web developer to do it for you.

Theme support should be dedicated to reporting issues with the theme such as bugs, outdated code, css errors, browser issues…etc.

From the looks of it the author was trying to be nice and help you out. I suggest you have a look at this blog post:

best of luck with your project!

So what you are saying Vasterad is you were using it against the terms…up until now. You’re lucky the author is a cool guy!

You really should have asked before actually using it, rather then after. 8-)

That’s good news though that the author has changed his mind. Because I’ve been bugging him to allow the use of FancyBox 2 in commercial themes. Yay.

Hey, I’m looking for a logo designer that would be interest in creating a custom logo for my brand. Anyone interested? Contact me via my profile page.

Might turn into a few projects.

PS:not sure if I’m allowed to start this thread, I hope its not an issue!

I think its a good start…

some things I would consider

- Logo doesn’t really match. When you are done with the final version, maybe, checkout Graphic River, there are some great ones for purchase there.

- Clearer separation between header and the navigation

- Login inputs in the header are hard to see and look out of place

- Better focus on paddings throughout the template

- A bit more color in the pricing area would be nice – maybe some green for money

- Footer is really generic

- Text-shadow is too strong in some areas

This really needs an entire overhaul, I think that’s why people are reluctant to give you some tips.

Have a look around TF at other Hosting files and see whats accepted and try and follow the same standards – http://themeforest.net/search?term=hosting&category=site-templates

good luck! AJ

In my opinion Typography really needs improvement. I also think a bit less ads everywhere would make it look more professional, people know they can have ads in the sidebar if they want them. Some hover-overs would be nice…

I think try and go a bit less graphical. I think it’s usually best to start with something lighter/cleaner and then add to it. At this point, I think you would need to do more “stripping”.

I suggest you contact the author directly or leave a comment on the theme page. This is a public forum and isn’t the best place to get help for theme specific concerns.

good luck with your project! AJ
