I’ve recently released a solo viola library with true legato. It’s free from our Facebook page

Give it a try and let me know what you think! :D

Newer versions of Safari disable some plugins by default. The same thing happens with Soundcloud. Go to Safari -> Preferences -> Advanced and uncheck “Stop plugins to save power”

See if that works!

I updated my laptop out of curiosity. The only useful change is tabs in Finder. Two applications I use regularly don’t work any more. Good thing I backed up first!

Can you embed flash on your profile? If so, that would be a possible solution.

I only get about 1 referral per month, so I don’t think it’s massively profitable, but you might as well squeeze out that extra bit of money when linking to your AJ page!

For all of you recording guitars live, do you plug it direct and use a modeling software or actually use an amp and mic it?
I found out that I can get good enough results with the modeling way, and it’s a lot less of a hassle than dealing with mics.
I use mics for acoustic guitar, but I just DI electric and bass guitars and re-amp later. I like having as much control as possible in the mix.

For me, everything is virtual except for guitars and occasional percussive objects

Mine was later than usual. I normally get paid at 3:00 (UK time) on the 14th, which is midnight on the 15th in Australia, but I was paid about 12 hours later than normal this time.

It might be something to do with the new automatic payments system :impatient:

The raw DI signal won’t sound nice whatever interface you use. You’ll need some sort of amp/cab sim.

Anyhoo, I use a Tascam US-1641.

Edit: In some cases, if you have a really nice preamp, the raw DI can sound good. We have some API preamps at uni, which colour the sound nicely.
