Alternatively try this: http://mattkersley.com/responsive/ Good luck :)

While this is really good for the browser window sizes, it doesn’t emulate a mobile device, but for screen resolutions it’s perfect!

Thanks guys!

When my house is finished I’m gonna get me a mobile device :)

Budget of the client doesn’t supper hiring a second person to test it. I’m working alone :p.

But I found it, seems that I wasn’t using the build in feature of Chrome correctly. /facepalm

Hi!

I’m working on a responsive design for a client. The code is ready so I can resize my browser in different sizes, the design respond accordingly.

Now, I added some code that detects the device. I do this so that when it’s for example an iPad, the top navigation menu turns into a select menu instead of an UL listing.

Now due to financial issues of building my house I can’t afford an iPhone, iPad or other mobile devices, so I’m looking for a tool that can simulate a mobile device.

I’ve tried the “Switch user agent” plugin in Firefox, but it doesn’t work very well. Same thing in the build in “feature” in Chrome.

Anyone knows such a tool? Oh yeah, I’m working on OS X Lion, so if it could be an app?

Thanks!

Hi,

What kind of points and details do I have to check if I want to design a website for a mobile device?

Hyperlinks not to small, dropdown in a select menu etc ??

I would like to know more off this to create a design that fits a mobile device.

Thanks!

Don’t forget that if you pay for a regular license, you can use them in your preview but you CAN ’T include them in your download file!

Hi!

I like patterns like these: patterns but my Photoshop skills aren’t good enough to know how to achieve this, searched Google for some tutorials but nothing really concrete came out.

Thought that one of you PS guru’s know a good tutorial for this ;)

Thanks!

Other than the obvious English speaking countries (UK, US, AUS ), I guess Hollands pretty well-represented around here (especially compared to the size..). Could be projection though :sarcasm:

Don’t see a lot of people from Belgium around here :(
As long as you’re in the Flamish speaking bit, come and side with us Dutchies ;) Otherwise the French probably wouldn’t mind to have you either :chuckle:

Haha, well I’m on the Flemish site, but my wife is from the French side, so we live in the middle :D

Hi,

I have an array:

["Test page 03", "Test page 03", Test page 04]

I would like to check if “Test Page 03” is present several times in the array. Can’t use "unique()" function of jQuery since it remove duplicates, I don’t want to remove it, I just want to check it to pass an if statement.

"jQuery.inArray()" isn’t really doing what I’m looking for.

Anyone an idea?

Thanks!

var present = false;
var present_count = 0;

for(var i in array)
{

     if (array[i] == "Test Page 03")
     {

          present_count += 1;

     }

}

if (present_count > 1)
{

     present = true;

}

Okay, it’s working in this kind of way. Thanks!
