There aren’t perfect solution for this. It’s depend on your theme layout structure/logic. If your css set image width to 100% without limit (max-width/min-width) you should upload bigest image as you can because the result of scale down always better than scale up. Maybe you should make some break point base on Article’s width, ex: when Article’s width reach a number of pixel (actual size of image) description text will jump to same row with image… Again, there are no perfect solution for images in responsive webdesign (retina also). You should decide some options that best fit with your theme.
SyamilMJ saidMaybe he doesn’t like the fact that the shortcodes are outside the page. I know that this kpet me from using it..
dnp_theme saidU mean mine is bad, or not good enough? Have you tried & did not like it? Or too difficult to integrate with your theme? So many questions.
Actually, you have this little tiny button that enables you to pick from any of the pages you’ve built right on top of the editor. Shouldn’t be a problem to use even for the least savvy user
The fact that the page builder is outside of the main editor is IMO among the best feature of this plugin, as most content builders tends to bloat the editor with all sorts of js, css & images that 90% of the time the users do not need at all. Not all pages need a content editor so it only makes sense to enable them building it on a separate page.
Your plugin is awsome! I’m using it and trying extend it for my theme. Its code is easy to understand. I think the drag/drop behavior is only issue need to fix. Thanks for your great work!
dnp_theme saidI saw your issue in OT support section and replied. I re-post my answer here.
Man I need this so bad.. What if I edit the theme-options.php in that manner?
I think it’s too hard to make nesting List Item with OT because List Item is a very special option type, it relate with other types and have very complicate structure. If really need a nesting List Item I think you could create a “fake” one by using 2 List Item and combine them with jQuery & CSS. This just my instant idea.
YuKhinThemes saidThanks for the heads up. Let me know if you have any code or idea on how to accomplish this. Thanks.
dnp_theme saidI’ve tried when work with List Item. I think it’s possible.
Is it possible to create a page builder with OptionsTree? Have anybody tried this?
First, I successful to use List Item as a image list that had grid layout (multi-column) Second, List Item supported drag&drop Third, OT is easy to manipulate (show/hide/layout options base on others) with addition CSS & JS
