Can’t really argue with you guess I will just make a little revision on the EDD 1.0 since it needs some minor tweaks on it’s own and release EDD 2.0 separately maybe with a new background.
This was really helpful.

What is the new version compatible with? I’m just thinking in terms of the buyers,if you have 2 different versions that work with different releases of AE that might get confusing.
The new version is compatible with CS5 and above, always come to my mind the question about whether or not people is still using a 32bits version of the program.
LoL! Yeah the moment I thought I looked to good to be an update I begin to think into selling it as a separate piece but on the other hand I don’t mind giving that “thank you” to the buyers also I could ask for a price increase and also include the original version into the new one just for the sake of compatibility since this new version it’s not CS4 compatible.
I didn’t know what others features add so at the end I came up with that joke! and yeah after some thought the update seems to be the one that makes more sense, although I might ask for a little price increase
.
Thanks for the reply.
I also saw an option to email previous customers about the update which is fantastic in the edit section and well early yesterday in the item discussion section of the forums I did a post, there you can download a preview file, I would be glad receiving some more feedback after you watch the preview.
Thanks a lot for the comments guys.
Yeah I think so too, but this update it’s almost done (only need some docs files) and its really stunning so I wanted to take advantage of the hype to promote other releases.
Thanks!
I’m working on an update for Epic Digital Distortion and it’s almost finished, I have learn lots of new things since I released the original and I also wanted to fix some stuff the clients usually ask for, so the new version looks a lot nicer, still I’m wondering if I should update the template or sell it as a separate one, what do you guys think? can you drop me some advice? I’m willing to show you the end result but I don’t know if its allowed in this side of the forums but since it’s not yet a item in the market I might be allow to.
Thanks in advance.
With the update almost done I’m wondering what is best, to sell it separately or just upgrade the current one, as you can see the new one has some new element while still maintaining the original stuff so I don’t thing it’s worth to do it separately but at the same time I also think that is different enough and it makes some sense to do it that way too, mind sharing some advice with me on this one?

hahaha Awesome! and well I think I have had the same feeling, you see I was the one who did the Titles for the Prototype Movie Trailer then one day when I check out Aetuts I saw a tutorial trying to recreate the look that I did and somehow I felt important.
Well like one smart author once said that slice of Videohive regarding stock material brings potential clients that maybe otherwise wouldn’t know about templates and how it could help them, plus there is a filter system that of course could be improved but it allows us already to isolate the results to a certain category.
