Going on 3 days and still no call from your support team to walk me through the steps to resolve the issue. In the meantime, been buying photos at different website.

Ugh… aren’t you a staff member? Can’t you just copy this forum link and email it to one of your co-workers? Why would I do your job for you?

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this or not but whenever I click “purchase” with my account credits, I purchase the product but then it directs me to paypal as well. Not sure if this is a bug or not but has been tested with firefox.

I suggest the category based rating system, because there is no way that a file can have 1 star on all categories you know what i’m saying? That way the rating system is a bit more fair. If you put 1 star for all categories, you know something is fishy.

you can pin point this particular individual from those that had items in the top list the same time your file was there. also, restrict the list by looking at those who have very similar items AND don’t get this one star treatment that was applied to you.

Should be pretty easy to spot him after a while.

Envato should think at better ways of displaying valuable items since with this average search system the popular list is probably one of the main place where buyers look for the items they need.

Staying there is important and can bring you thousands of dollars. Investing some of those money to bring down competition makes sense. Is immoral but is how capitalism works so no surprise there.

I’m not looking for someone to blame. It’s my item and if these 1 star ratings were my customers that are unhappy or believe the product is that poor of quality I would really like to know. My main point for this topic is to see if others have similar experiences. If it’s a plague across the marketplaces I think it is good to have awareness of it. Maybe we can adjust the author terms and conditions to make these actions something you can be banned for to make you think twice.

I think Envato should send survey’s out for recent purchases and things like that. Collect the data and send it back to the authors to review so that you can make adjustments to your items based off of feedback provided by your customers.

Another good idea, would be to have actual ratings based off of different categories such as:

• [1-5 Stars] Overall Rating
• [1-5 Stars] File Organization
• [1-5 Stars] Ease of Use
• [1-5 Stars] Was File as described?
• [1-5 Stars] Would you recommend to a friend?

Oh one more thing, perhaps instead of just simply rating the item, they should require the customer to leave actual feedback describing why they felt it deserved a 1 star rating. Then have is look through the mail for curse words and things like that.

Don’t have time to rate items but I read through the comments before purchasing many times, if there is bad press, I do not purchase.

I think the glove / mitten should be a different color, green seems a bit organic / all natural health to me. I do like the idea of a glove though, kinda reminds me of the NES glove from back in the day

Same here, your explanations of what you need aren’t very clear yet, I assume you want the big numbers to appear next to each post? So 1 next to the first post, 2 next to the next, etc?

I would assume he would need to use “foreach” and work with the array.

I looked at your picture but it’s not clear as to what you are looking to do here.

For a specific category, I would suggest you take a look at Wordpress Template Hierarchy. You’ll probably have to create a custom template for the category.

Perhaps you can explain a bit more about what you mean by “post counter” – is this in regard to how many comments have been published on posts within a specific category? Have you tried Wordpress Codex?
