I’m very glad with a new category on ThemeForest, but accepting all these templates like if the world would end tomorrow is ridiculous and very desrecpectfull for all authors working hard to bring fresh, innovative and unique themes to live…
What a desapointment…
The only thing I have to say about this topic is: What’s going on with those Apple images???? That’s obviously not allowed. Those themes should be held in the queue until the copyright issues are solved.
Looks like there’s a blindness epidemy among the reviewers
Besides those themes are not quite “Premium”, what do you think about all those logos and brands on the products images?
And when it clearly mentions products and brands names on the texts? Isn’t that copyright infringements??
My themes were rejected more than once for less than that…
I mean… WTF ?????
now want we need is a “share your lunch” thread… that one would be interesting. O_O
hahahah
Man, you make laugh!
+1 about the sales!

and I agree: some of those themes are veeeery good!
no doubt: #2
As a designer I know how hard can be all the process of designing a layout, but in my partnerships I split 40% for me and 60% for the person who codes the file because that person will be responsable of all support issues and fixing all bugs, etc, etc… My work as a designer (we are talking about templates) finish when the theme is uploaded, but for the coder work never ends
That’s why I think 40 / 60 is fair in my partnerships. Maybe I’m wrong.
And good luck on your search: ThemeForest is full of very talented programmers!
I don’t see the reason… As a designer you should do what makes your template unique and yet still very well-made. You could get 50 different opinions on what to do next and not know what to do because what people think is not the same for all. Your best bet is to just design it, completely. Getting opinions on a ‘base layout’ doesn’t make very much sense to me.
