Why not just use any WordPress theme, set full width page as your home and use contact form 7 to make your lead form? Then any WordPress theme can do what you need and using CF7 means you get amazing forms, but freedom to place where you want on any page via the shortcode tag. Just an idea.
It’s a good idea, but my tech team prefers not to use WordPress. Some clients have had hacking issues before with WP, so we tend to stay away. The sites we develop are mostly static, so we don’t really need the CMS component that WP offers.
I need corporate business templates that have short lead forms on the home page. I don’t need, and prefer not to have, large slider images on the main page.
Every template I’ve found with a lead form is only a landing page, and I need full sites. If there are landing pages that have matching full sites that correspond with them, that could be good, too.
I’ve purchased dozens of templates here, but I always have to drastically modify them to get them to work for my loan company clients. It would be great to find several sites with lead forms already build into the home page.
That is a gorgeous website; such an awesome design. I’ll have to bookmark this idea. It might be worth hiring a designer for someday.
I’ve been a buyer on Themeforest for 2.5 years. Although I’ve only purchased about 20 themes, and I know that doesn’t make me a huge contributor, I’ve noticed the quality has gone downhill. I agree that there are many duplicate themes, and many outdated styles.
I never find a theme that really fits my needs and I generally have to make drastic changes to themes to make them acceptable for real businesses, but I’m willing to do that because the quality and value here have always been so high.
Now I’m frustrated at the product and extremely frustrated with the purchasing process. Paypal has become impossible to use with my company credit card, and Moneybookers doesn’t take American Express (regardless of Envato telling is they do). I can no longer purchase themes from Envato, so I would love to find another source for quality themes, unfortunately my searches haven’t paid off in that regard.
Maybe I’ll just go back to creating themes from scratch or outsourcing design and coding and charging my clients thousands of dollars more. I don’t look forward to that; to me the speed of using a template and customizing it outweighs the higher cost I can charge for custom design from scratch.
