I’ve noticed TONS of night club flyers on graphic river but who could actually use them? Only designers who work with DJ’s and night clubs and there’s market maybe for these type of designs only in large (metropolitan cities).
It’d be nice if these designers would instead create video tutorials and show how they are making them. I see a lot of them have digital photoshop painting and special text effects. Would love to see tutorials on those.
A month ago or so I spent a hefty price and bought a wp theme. Mostly I bought it because of “design”. Note I wrote design with ””. Well after that my comp had crashed and I lost my theme with all my other files.
Recently I went to my buying history and re-downloaded the theme only to find out the owner of the theme changed the design drastically. Now it has some ugly shaded images with black instead of clean white space. Definitely NOT what I’d purchased originally and definitely NOT what was displayed on live.
Can I get my money back or at least give me a credit back so I can buy a good wp theme that’s almost identical to the one I bought before? Btw I saw at least 3-4 other “designs” that looked identical to the one I bought. Do people just copy other’s work and change a few things in wp theme and sell them as “their own”. What’s Envato’s policy on protection author’s work?
I would like to submit a logo but it requires to have a help file. I was not able to find any information regarding what do you add to help file? I am not eager to write a manual how to use a software… I assume people who buy vector art or Photoshop files must be at least moderately familiar with these programs.
Could someone point me to a help file for logo submission? What is general information that you include?
Now I did duh….. Thank you! All working fine now
Just made a deposit twice and every time I try to buy it redirects me to make another deposit….why? My dashboard shows me my $$$ but I can’t purchase stuff. Please fix. Thx
I would like to design a brochure but to design it I need to use some photographs. I don’t have any budget atm to go to stock photo sites and buy stock images atm. Do any of you do an agreement from a photographer from photodune where you showcase their photos in your work but you do NOT include photos in purchased files?
Are there any good quality photos that are free to use? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thx
Just go to elance.com there are plenty of projects to design $30 logos = elance fees. Those logos suck a….. tho and 99.9% are clip art
This is such a joke. A logo is NOT something you should just make up and sell as micro-stock. How many people really want the same logo? Hopefully, none.
There are many sites already that sell “stock logos” and I’ve seen a few businesses local using those logos. I could even pin point from which website they bought their $30.00. But if you’d look around – at least there’s chance those logos would look somewhat professional and not mambo jumbo crap you see every day from small businesses.
If I go to shopping plaza near my home, I can take a picture of billboard that lists all businesses on that plaza and those logos are an eye sore most have been “designed” by logo print or sign shops that have no clue what goes into good/memorable logo.
Ok thank you for reply Mark
Well last night I got excited because I was approved for PhotoDune to become the seller. Today I uploaded 3 out of my 8 files and all 3 were rejected.
“We’re sorry, your item Marygoround.jpg has not been approved for sale on PhotoDune. This is the reason given by our item inspector:
We’re sorry, the overall quality of this submission was not high enough for inclusion in the PhotoDune library. Images should be well composed, be technically and aesthetically sound, and should have utility for our customers. Please see our upload instructions for further information:http://wiki.envato.com/basics/photodune/photodune-upload-instructions/
We are therefore unable to accept your submission on this occasion.”
I was under impression that when you submit your 5-10 photos to be considered they look at quality and qualify you….. why then the same files suddenly are being rejected? I don’t see anything wrong with files.
