This is is a nice file, a soft rejection would be sufficient, a hard rejection is like a slap in the face for the author. If you will you can always find some elements to complain because its often a matter of taste. Just my 2 cents!

Maybe because not every rejection is satisfied. Sometimes I see rejected items where I can only wonder why there become rejected and others become approved.

Any news on that? I become rejected because the file was InDesign CS5 only. :( ;)

Rejected twice, after this I got upset, eat my kitten and after a few days I think the reviewer was right.

I can understand your frustration, have the same Problem to. But after 3 weeks of work on my site I am done. It’s a waste of time!

Like many others today I become rejected, but I disagree with some points with the reviewer.

Here the Reviewer Comments:

1) Overall template typography needs additional refinements and improvements before it will be ready for Theme Forest.

Why? I don’t see any problems, I am using san-serif Fonts, the spacing and paragraph are fine. I don’t get it!

2) The code quality of the template needs improvements such as reducing the number of divs being used and using better coding practices up to date with current standards.

Thats ok, there is always room for optimizations, but I don’t think it is so bad. I will look in this of course.

3) You’ll need to include more content options and styles. You might consider implementing an elements overview page with examples of commonly used website elements such as tables, forms, typography, etc.

This is a small one site Portfolio, wouldn’t it look art to add so much content in form of headings, table examples and so on? Thats not really common when I look on other sites of this type. Goal of this site is to be minimal and so uncomplicated at is could for the buyer.

Maybe I am to arrogant, but at the moment I feel really subbed by theme forest. This Hard rejection is to harsh!

Yeah but you have to understand there were another efforts like mailing with the client, paypal fees.

I absolutely agree, this are things that must be considered or you just self-exploit your self. This could destroy the market here. Not every one have big sales, many people depending on freelance work from this place. But I think the most people here are considering all this when there calculate his price.
