Envato is greedy. Nuff said.

Email me the ticket number and I’ll get it fast tracked – travis at envato dot com
Thank you, will do.
UBL : Yes they do a good job when they finally respond. But I have a ticket that was submitted 9 days ago (Oct 7) and has gone unanswered. That is unacceptable in my opinion.
When I first joined the Envato marketplace, I used to get support ticket responses in less than a day. Now, I go a week or more until I finally get a response. Messaging the Twitter handle always gets it sped up but they haven’t been online in 7 days.
So what’s the deal? Why is support taking so long lately.
I have a ticket in queue that is pretty urgent.
I’ve used re-captcha before on my site and I’ll never use it again. There are a lot of bots that bypass it. I found that custom captcha systems are the best way to go (and no unreadable text).
That being said, I am with OriginalEXE…I don’t log out.
We develop a Facebook style chat for WordPress if you’re interested in something like that:
http://www.arrowchat.com/The thing that doesn’t make sense to me is how this gets approved: [link removed – please do not call out other authors on the forum. Thanks!]
and the OP got rejected.
I feel like a lot of luck is involved with the review process.
It’s way, way, way too basic…not even close.
Look at the other items on the store and you should be able to see the difference.

Currently themeforest is working like Market (allow all people to submit their works), but does not allow Market to decide to buy which works, only Reviewers have the rights to decide !![]()
That’s an interesting idea. Have a “rejected marketplace” where if a theme sells enough then it can be moved up to the main marketplace.

I know it can be frustrating when your item gets rejected, but calling down hate on our reviewers is not the path to success . If you feel like you haven’t received enough feedback from the reviewer on why, please open a Support ticket. Our reviewers look and so many files that it’s just not possible to give a detailed breakdown on each and every one.
If only that were true :/
Open up a support ticket and you’ll get a response saying “post on the forums”. They told me that twice.
As for the OP, yeah, it’s frustrating, I know. However, Themeforest isn’t obligated to accept your submission. You can always open up your own competing marketplace or just sell it by yourself (and not have to pay them the 50-30%).
