AJ is fantastic. Thanks to AJ, I produce a whole lot different than I used to, focussing more on a buyers perspective now. Top selling items even inspired me to start mastering a whole different genre now! The challenge of increasing my production value for the benefit of sales is also highly addicting and well worth my time.
^Thanks for sharing such valuable insights.
In case you want to search a bit further: this technique is called “time-stretching”.
I’d be interested in hearing what you define as “boring, cookie-cutter, uninspiring music”. Cheers
Frontpage exposure helps, that’s true.
1. Nobody is forcing anyone to upload mediocre material. 2. There is a review system that’s making sure all items available here are eligable to sell. Though perhaps it would help to raise the bar a bit -> less crowded, higher standards (and pricing?). 3. Some items uploaded months ago with no sales, could still sell. 4. There are tons of possibilities here for getting exposure: featured author, popular items, videohive collaboration (though this is not as easy as it should!), featured items, collections, similar item section, contests, newsletters… and more.
Hope this makes sense.
I love it. When producing new motivational music material, it’s these kind of videos that inspire.
