IMO, it is wrong if you think this Marketplace is the place where you want to learn. Yes, I’ve learned a lot from GraphicRiver, but that doesn’t mean this marketplace is an ideal place to learn, it’s Marketplace, not Tuts website.

If you got rejected, you can give it away for free as freebies, is good for your marketing. Or just improve your item again, especially typography.just my 2 cent.

Yay! After 20 days of waiting eventually my item got hard rejected because “the submission is too similar to existing item(s) in our marketplace”! Wow! Now I’m so blissfully happy that I could die!
i was also hard rejected for “needs more work” no other description what so ever, im not going to bother waiting another 14days for it to be reviewed again as ive seen logos which look a lot more simple and lesser quality so it leads me to believe you are just rejecting to buy time?
Party Flyer = AI, PSD
Corporate Flyer = AI, PSD or INDD
Brochure (Print) = AI, PSD or INDD
Brochure (Web) = (Fw, AI, PSD) + Coda or Dw
Business Cards = AI or PSD
Magazines = INDD (but you can design elements in AI or PSD or maybe 3DMax)
Books = INDD (but you can design elements in AI or PSD or maybe 3DMax)
eBooks = INDD + Coda or Dw
The most importante element is the concept for your target… The program is only the tool for this goal.
web brochure can be done in indesign, the reason i would do it in indesign as the page turning feature is already standard when you export the file, anything with multi pages i would do in indesign.
Business cards i would also use indesign as another option mainly because i have never used photoshop for a business card.
Opencart is pretty cool with loads of features but editing it can be a nightmare, I would personally look for something WordPress based as the help you can get from people would be much more plentiful. Plus the expansion possibilities would be greater with WP

Does anybody know how long it has been since we have to add fonts used to the item description? I always add them to my read me file. Now I’ve had my item soft rejected after waiting for 12 days because I didn’t do so! Eeeeeekkk..
i had a soft rejection but the resubmition only took less than 8 hours to be accepted so i didnt see an issue here
I’d still like to see how you manage spot inks in photoshop.
spot colours are possible in photoshop, far from ideal they are a pain to do when software packages like indesign and illustrator can do them so much more efficiently.
Spot colours are assigned to channels within a cmyk photoshop document
maybe the print designers should start a trend and flood the marketplace with indesign files suitable for spot colours and print
i dont know why word documents do that to text, try printing the word doc to a pdf then copy and pasting the text into the boxes, word documents are the worst files to deal with and i have not found a decent solution to fix that problem yet
