For me I have 10-20 into a design, 15-20 into templates and 10-30 into the WP part – depending on a number of variables. This time is based off client work and Im working on my first themforest theme which has taken 2 months as I only get to work on it as I have time.
Also keep in mind that once you build parts of it such as custom widgets, options panels etc your next theme will be quicker as you can reutilize much of your code.
Ha, Aten is just down the street, i’ve heard they are pretty chill groups of people. lol
I am knowledgeable in building and deploying magento sites, as well the firm I work for is a certified Magento Partner. Shoot me a message and we can see if either direction can help you with your needs.
Kind Regards, Bret
Exactly – being on the front page does help, and what I found was alot of people on here will just buy the new stuff to add to their design “Arsenal”. That fades after a few weeks, then it’ll be people who actually want to buy your template. Thats my experience, although I’ve specialised more in Admin Themes than anything else.
Thanks! Seems to be true thus far…
I didn’t have any issues but I did get a bunch of viruses after installing their software, maybe thats just my over-protective anti-virus software though.
thanks for the reply guys, but i am looking for a template to match an arabian/spanish style restaurant for my friend, but its really hard to find.
advice and offers are still open.thanks.
I am working on a restaurant/bar Wordpress theme that has custom menu/drink plugin. Not sure if you are interested in migrating to the WP platform, but if you are, I have a demo setup where you can see the functionality. Message me if interested.
After spending days troubleshooting an issue that ended up only being in Browser Sandbox, not in IE6 directly on a machine I have gone back to having virtual machines for each browser.
I would be curious to know if anyone else has had similar issues.
So it sounds like its kind of a thing that will pickup momentum on its own – assuming the quality and demand is there.
Thanks guys. Good to hear from a buyers perspective.
uDesign – I assume keeping a high number of sales is how an item stays in the popular section?
