Recently my first item moved off the home page featured area and from the first page to the second page of the item list in categories. Once this happened I noticed the sales slowed down.
Now obviously that will happen to every item. So my question is, what are you guys and gals doing to promote your items – to keep the sales going once the item is no longer new and featured/at the front of the items list?
Nice app. Couple comments:
1. Spelling error – after downloading the initial screen says “quite app and…”, I think you might have meant “quit app and…”
2. When entering settings, there is no done or save button. Not the end of the world, but definitely something that is need from a UI standpoint.
Love the rest of the app!
In my account on the portfolio next to the number of sales and the total amount there is a items per month figure and total per month figure.
When I do the math it doesn’t seem to add up:
4 purchases (40.00 p/month) $20.00 total ($200.00 p/month)
Can someone please explain what these stats are about? Is it an estimate for the month on that item based off current sales?
Thanks in advance.
You can use Wordpress MU to host multiple sites on one installation:
Ive used it a few times and it works great. Each site will use its own database and theme so they are entirely unique. I have built a few themes on MU (and moved some regular WP themes to MU) with no issues.
Hope that is a start for ya.
Ever notice how the more you learn, the more you realize how little you know?So true – Great interview Jeffrey – you really have done an amazing job with the marketplaces/blogs so far and it’s interesting to see a few of these topics from your side
Nice interview. Im glad to find I am not the only one who feels this way
Wanted to find out where I can specify/upload the med horizontal image used above the description (behind the live preview/screenshots button)? I assume this will be the same as the image used when you hover over the thumbnail?
jremick – That happened to dawn on me about 30 seconds after after I replied to my “reviewers” email with a couple resubmission questions. Lol, gotta love Mondays.
Thanks again for the assiatance!
Duane – I think you have a couple good points as well that could improve the templates, especially numbers 3 & 4.
