Id been on flickr quite while before joining FD and I did notice quite a lot of traffic after putting a themeforest work on it. Interestingly I haven’t been able to find as many Flash groups as you’d expect.

If anyone is interested, I’ll explain the true meaning behind these lyrics. They sound funny, but you’d be surprised how deep they really are. Like a mud puddle begging you jump in.

One thing i’ve noticed a lot of the top template authors do is build modular components which work both as a standalone products and can be combined into a template for sale once you’ve created the whole set.

So you build your own contact form/ slideshow/ image gallery/mp3 player/flv player/preloader/ background switcher etc.. all the things a great template will need – sell them individually and then tweak it, combine them into a great looking design and sell them again.

That way you wont need to do months of work for no sales

..and opening another thread is a great way to start

Is this a serious question? It’s down right now because of getting used too often and flooded with too many requests.

number of requests != number of users

i think it only appears if you have an item which was rejected and is waiting for resubmission – i have an additional menu item under my account with my file listed on that page
