Hey guys,

I have a customer that wants me to build an online shop… He want the following:

- lightweight shopping platform

- easy customization in admin panel and the possibility of other custom php custom stuff

- customization for each customer logged in.

I am more a design savvy so can you please (and pretty please) point me to a such opensource platform. I don’t know what to chose from Opencart, PrestaShop, OSCommerce and other that are here..

You should check out DigitalOcean for a VPS I use one (server in Amsterdam) and it’s lightning fast from Romania. Also, more features and cheaper too.

well not the VPS that I have I have triple the resources for the same amount of money and I know the guys there…they do not oversell. This is not to publicity or something ... I considered Digital Ocean even tested a bit but after I ran the dd command on my current VPS I got 189-200mb/s – r/w

Envato, instead of adding useless rules every single day WITHOUT ANYONE REQUESTING THEM, try to actually do something useful, in the past there were lots of suggestions, first thing being the comments section which is a pain in the *.. The search system sucks, copycats are added everyday without anyone actually checking it.

C’mon Envato, it’s not our job to be detectives and check all the themes everyday on each approval process.

Can’t you find something useful to do?
