Tweet.js-Mod works with HTML static pages?... Cool
This template will never be accepted on themeforest, but if you work hard you can improve your skills in matter of design.
After that, when you start a new project, keep in mind what client needs because, right now, your template is useless for a travel agency. Like @manuelvega said, it is recommended to use a framework, like bootstrap.
Wish you luck!
My template has been rejected for the second time. Here is the message I got from reviewer:
Unfortunately your submission Belleza – Responsive One Page Template isn’t quite ready for ThemeForest and requires significant improvements and changes before it can be resubmitted and reconsidered.
Additionally, we have some extra feedback for you:
Your template does not provide a unique enough design with the necessary design quality, features and options to compete in the marketplace at this time. As higher quality templates become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality.
You might consider improving your design with more unique features and graphics in order for it to stand out among other marketplace items. However, a unique design will be a key factor for approval.
I know it’s frustrating to be rejected citing uniqueness but recently, we’ve gotten a large number of template with the same overall features and presentation and we have to draw the line somewhere.
However, we do accept themes with similar structure but in condition it provides better quality in terms of aesthetic or features.
Any advice is more than welcome and appreciated.
A few tips from me too:
1 – choose another pictures for the background.
2 – change the font for logo (reconstructing…) and you would even consider to rename it.
3 – newsletter can look better, to be honest right now has nothing to do with current design.
4 – social icons: the colors and sizes(proportions) can be improved.
5 – I think is better to reduce difference in terms of the background opacity between the newsletter section and the contents above it.
Wish you luck!
As @Anps said, the main problem here is uniqueness, but also you have some other issues:
1 – Try to add some nice jquery features.
2 – I suggest you to reduce line-height.
3 – Not sure if text-align center for some elements is a good ideea within your design.
4 – Logo need improvements.
5 – Some margin/padding issues.
I can not figure out exactly what, but something is wrong with the header, maybe it will look better if you add a dotted line between the top section and bottom section of the header. Same problem with footer between the 4 columns and bottom section containing copyright.
Thank you thememates and mabuc for your tips
One thing I’d suspect is that full-screen-background-slideshow thing is becoming a saturated style within TF, so you’d need to really WOW the reviewer in order to pass. But definitely ask for a clarification.
I do not think so, but even if this is the reason for rejection, the reviewer did not mention anything about it in the feedback I received. We had sent them a support ticket and hopefully we’ll get a clarification.
-1 - Important: Improvements or fixes MUST be made to the above described areas before resubmitting. Resubmitting without making any of the requested changes violates our policy and repeated attempts may result in a temporary or permanent suspension of authorship rights.
