Having a completely dead room was my main concern, that’s why half of the panels are actually reflecting mid/high frequencies (but not the ones at the first reflection points), thanks to a membrane under the fabric. I like how it sounds :)
I can play a test sine wave with my synth without hearing any noticeable buildup/drop down to 40Hz (from 40Hz down 30Hz the level decreases evenly).

My first room was treated with acoustic foam only and that was a dead room! It was plenty of bass buildups and super dull highs, very suitable for headphones mixes :D
And I don’t like too many distracting things, like plants, I even wanted to make all full black in the beginning :P

Whatever works for you man! Those plants will be fine without sitting there;]] as for the nice and flat response you got going on in your studio, Devid Brent would have gone, “professionalism is.. and that is what I want” :)

looking great but from the size of it and the amount of padding I guess its proper dead acoustically no? plus there is no windows…no natural light coming in…no plants :) :) Great effort but cant imagine spending 2/3 of my life in similar room. I like plants :)
I would remove the top and the bottom panels from the side walls and leave the middle panel there.

I dont know but Luca might have already been there and decided to put more padding cause the room this size demanded it. With a bigger room like 5m wide, 6m long and 3.5m tall you would get away with padding only first reflection points, few corners and thats pretty much it, you might even be safe and work fine without tilting the ceiling.

I could not agree with you more. A possible solution to the apparent staff shortage is to allow “vetted” members to review submissions in exhange for promotional exposure in a top reviewers section. Kind of like a tastemakers list. The motivation to approve more products of great quality would result in better exposure for the reviewer.

f*ck exposure, give them dolla instead;]]
