Hi folks, I have a client that wants a full-width theme with a slider that looks like this:

http://infowaydemo.wordpress.com/

The slider navigation is on the right side of the slider itself. Can anyone recommend a theme that has it or that is similiar?

Hi all, can anyone point me to a theme in which the main menu is a vertical menu in the left sidebar and is a fly-out menu? I would be most grateful for any help locating such a theme, as I need it for a job.

I have another question…I would like to place 2 images in the container, then float them left so they are stacked on top of each other. I would like the top image to fade out slowly, then after a while, fade back in. I used the code above, but I changed this line so that “pano_img” was a class instead of an ID:

panoImg = $(”.pano_img”)

Then I assigned the class to each image.

I doubled the container height to make sure they were moving in tandem. They were, so that’s all good.

But I want the top image to fade out, then fade back in. I gave it an ID of “first_photo” and used jquery to select it thusly:

$(”#first_photo”).fadeOut(“slow”);

..but it doesn’t seem to do anything.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend a Jquery plugin that will do this:

http://www.onebiscaynetower.com/

Moving the mouse to the left or right moves the image smoothly in the opposite direction.

Looks like that’s going to be the simplest, quickest choice for you, although I would not feel comfortable sending a template that way. The design may get butchered. If you are knowledgeable with PHP , PHP-mailer is a good solution, but the learning curve is steep and it sounds like you don’t have a lot of time:

I recommend Campaign Monitor. Second choice: MailChimp.

I have found an error in the code. In index.php there is this block of php:

<? if ($post->ID != $featured_ID) { ?>

On this line, the “php” is missing after the first question mark.

When the conditional ends, the authors have this code:

<? } ?>

Again, the “php” is missing after the question mark. This has nothing to do with my previous post, but is related to another error I was getting with the php code showing up in the browser in the post blocks.

It also caused the “featured post” to show up twice.

When I added the “php” after the question marks, the problem vanished and I no longer saw code on the page in the browser and the featured post only appeared once, where it should be at the top of the page.

I hope this helps someone else if they encounter the same problem.

...because I am having problems with it. The Wordpress Creatif index page is not rendering correctly. There is a div named “block_content” that has no style rules at all or is even mentioned in the CSS file. I think that may be the problem as it wraps the main content area and sidebar, both of which are flush left in the browser, when they should be centered.

Google Apps, Freshbooks, Delicious, Firebug, FireFTP and Twitter are tools I use everyday and have changed my work life tremendously for the better.

Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, and phpMyAdmim are handy tools also.
