Your footer is currently in the center of your page =P. In my browser anyways…and i refreshed many times and from many angles. Start by fixing this
I agree, White is simply too bright.
I like where you are going though. It is simple. However, don’t make it too simple because the page currently looks empty. Re-post an image once you progress further and I will take another look.
I am happy for you as I am also looking for my first template submission success! Thanks for providing feedback on it by the way. If anyone else wants to take a look before I submit: http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/review-before-submition-/11932
Once again, congratulations and hopefully I will be joining you in this success shortly.
I think you are correct! I just checked and I have moved up 6 spots. Woo! Thanks for getting some reviews done
That’s all we can do is be patient. I submited a background pack and 1.5 days later I am still where I started in the queue and it is just stacking up behind me. I’m 31st.
I’m new, I don’t expect anyone to bow to my needs because I have no content on envato at all. As a new author, I would even expect current others would recive senority review times.
Would using the first site ( http://www.webdesigncool.com/retrosimplicity ) but with a fixed background look better than both of the current designs. This way the content simply scrolls over a fixed background. Will post a link in a few after i get it up.
Duh! Why didn’t i think of this before and do this originally. It looks 100% better than the css choppy stuff when i tried to repeat the sliced image.
Let me know what you think: http://webdesigncool.com/retrosimplicity3/
It wouldn’t turn into a spamming tool if you the buyer could choose “I want updates!” when they buy a product. Then, when and only when an update is uploaded the author can send a “message” containing update materials. They author never sees the emails, it is all handled by envato.
You could simply implement an updates section in a users profile when they login it says “updates have been uploaded for this product, click here to see what the updates include!” ...or is this already how it works? I’m new. haha.
