Awsome Addition!
Sent you an email Karl!
ooo I misunderstood, I thought you said there was one. My mistake =D
It’s fine
Just wonder if the Staff will manage to consider the idea
It’s not a bad idea, but if it was to be implemented i think it should’ve been done before GR released.
Though, to be honest, i personally wouldn’t create a promo video for every file i’d upload due to:
1) It’s time consuming 2) It’s bandwidth consuming – for the marketplaces and also the end-user 3) Adds unnecessary load time to viewing a simple preview, as i already find that occasionally when the Envato sites get busy they get a little slow loading, and i don’t think it needs anymore page weight!
Another factor is skills, not everyone is skilled in video production. Therefore possibly giving those who have top skills a better chance at selling their files than someone who is an awesome designer but not that great at video production..
Just my opinion!
Where do they show the marketplaces twitter?
As far as i know, they don’t… Thus why i suggested it
Hi Deva,
I’m interested and can work on it for you.
Please send me an email via my den page by clicking on my avatar, and we can chat a little more.
Thanks, Andrew
Excellent work Ryan and the Envato Dev team!
Would eventually be good to see a documentation site on the API .
Alrighty Guys.
I like contempoinc thoughts about topic reply/sales noficiation
It’s something i hear a lot from freinds and mac users i know is that Mac’s are invulnerable to picking up Viruses/Worms/Etc, and i constantly have to remind them that it’s something that is a common misconceived idea in the general Mac user community.
Mac’s are not invulnerable to picking viruses up, just less prone/heard of.
Some examples of viruses that affected Macs include: ‘Melissa.W’ , ‘Inqtana.A Worm’ and ‘Leap.A (Oompa-Loompa Virus)’
Just thought i’d throw a bit of knowledgeable information out there.
But to add on to the general topic, Mac’s are very stylish machines. I have used them and loved my time using them. Their OS immerses you into a nice design and simple usability! Though, there is a debate between Windows and Mac users, why i don’t know, but each has their advantages and downfalls.
Hi All,
I was wondering if a feature to allow Forum Signatures could be added, it wouldn’t have to be anything fancy but a couple line text-only signature.
I always like to add a thanks at the end of every post, as it adds a personal touch to it.
Thanks, Andrew
