You need the right type of RAM for your motherboard and you should avoid mixing different ram modules too. For Ae, lots of RAM will make a big difference. I’d say that 16 GB is a bare minimum if you want to work professionally with HD.

Yes. Thanks for the advice. If it is ok Felt, what is your full system spec?

Oh yes, if you get more will be better. For example I use 16 gb to ram of my computer and now I feel to jump to 24 gb. For AE never will be enough.

Actually, I already bought a Corsair 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz, but it is giving me a BSOD on my current rig so I removed it temporarily until I buy a new pc next year.

You’re jumping to 24GB ? :) Sounds crazy. LOL . I thought 16GB will be sufficient enough, what is your computer specs? If it is ok.

Hi guys. I’m wondering if upgrading from 4GB to 8GB will give me a noticeable improvement in AE, any advice? Thanks!

Noted. Will there be a difference if I open the JPEG (RGB) and save it as another JPEG /TIFF CMYK ?
Or is there anything I can do about the RGB PSD file?
Thanks guys

The color mode for print should be CMYK …and for screen viewing RBG You probably had your original file in RGB color mode which is why when printed out by a CMYK printer produced a slight shift in colors.

So, should I create a CMYK file too just in case? What would you recommend? 8 or 16bit ?

Thanks

Hi guys. Good day.
I need an advice, what is the best settings / format for printing an image?

I just went to printing-shop and they printed out my graphics but the colors of printed product isn’t that accurate, the printed product is way too bright and lost a lot of details.

Where do you think the problem?
Is it me or the printer?

What should be the best settings to match the details and colors for printing a graphics.

Thanks!

Hi guys. Good day. Do you mind sharing your computer spec?

I am planning to upgrade to -
CPU : 3770k
GPU : Nvidia GTX 680
RAM : Corsair Vengeance 16GB @ 1600Mhz
MoBo : Any ASUS ROG Boards
SSD : Suggestions?
HDD : WD Caviar Black 1TB
PSU : Suggestions?

Is it really worth it to have another HDD separated from main HDD /SSD?
What would you suggest?

My current computer – (3 years and getting old)
CPU : AMD 1090T
GPU : AMD Sapphire 7850HD
RAM : OCZ Platinum 4GB
MoBo : Asus 890GX
HDD : WD Caviar Black 1Tb
PSU : HEC 700w

My monitor resolution by the way is 1920×1080,
in my current computer it is hard to edit HD footage
since it’s getting slow even in Quarter Preview Mode.

What would you suggest?
Is it going to be worth-it if I upgrade to Intel Computer (above) from my current AMD pc?
If it is ok, please share you computer spec and how fast and reliable it is.

Thanks!
