I obviously made a mistake saying ‘simple’ ... I’m aware of sql import and built-in php csv import function but I’m looking for something that a user can use via some kind of import request form.

And to work in the real world there would also be a need for a user/admin maintained ‘mapping’ table to handle column mappings from source to target e.g. defaults, basic transformations etc. In most cases you can’t just read a file straight into a table. If only life were that easy.

I realize this is just normal stuff for most file imports but I just hoped that someone might have tackled this before.

Thanks DiLab – I think I’ve benefitted from your help before…

I’m really looking for something that has a front end from and process e.g.

- choose a CSV from the file system - choose a table to import into (tables and column mapping pre-defined in a lookup table) - preview import - do import - print audit trail of import

Something like that…

I would like someone to create a balanced scorecard-like CSS layout to display php/mysql data variables. I’m just looking for the layout to present the data not any code to get the data.

Ideally I’d like this in the same style as Emil’s Adminus CSS template (on codecanyon) as I’m using this on the rest of the site – unfortunately Emil is too busy to do this himself :(

I have a 1-page mockup I can email if you are interested.

Does anyone know of a simple php script for managing importing CSV data into a mysql table (using a front end form to initiate) or is there one on codecanyon that I have missed?

I solved my own problem. I bought Adminus from CodeCanyon – it does everything I need. Shimples!

I spend a lot of time on free php/css sites but I’m looking for some specific page templates build to my spec. Thanks.

I’m looking for 2-3 CSS page layouts to use for displaying php content (or iframed php content). These are portal style layouts i.e. a mixture of 2/3 column and 1 column with 2/3 spot sidebar – all within single page context.

I want to use these as a template to ‘drop in’ my content so not asking for any php/mysql just well-commented css styles to work from.

The sooner the better.

I have a bunch of WP blogs on a single server that I would like a front end for to make it easier to access the blogs and their admin and provide basic stats about the users/content of each blog (via direct sql queries into the various WP databases).

This is a ‘one-page’ app that is database driven i.e. each blog in the list is referenced via a row in a single table. CRUD is done through a popup lightbox form. The blog list is behind a simple login.

I don’t want a WP plugin – I already work with an excellent plugin developer – but a php/mysql/html script that I can install on the same server as the blogs.

If you are interested, please provide a link to some WP-related development that indicates you have a good understanding of the platform. Thanks.
