Thanks alot. I havent thought about making an Android app. I was hoping the AIR on Android comes out soon. But I could look into it for sure and the process. But first Im going to see how well this fairs. See if people like it enough.
Nice, can’t wait to see this completed. The screens look good. Envato on your desktop.
I actually just submitted an Envato iPhone App the other day.
Check out the Post here for early screens
Be on the look out guys. I just submitted an iPhone App that lets you monitor your account on your iPhone. In addition you will also be able to browse files from your favorite market places. Here are some screens.
Hope everyone likes it. Can always be reached on here or on twitter @kreativeking – http://www.twitter.com/kreativeking
API still seems to be broken though. Thumbnails arent being placed in there properlyEx
<random-new-file> <sales>0</sales> ? <url> http://activeden.net/item/rotating-gears-animation/87118 </url> <item>Rotating Gears Animation</item> <cost>2.00</cost> ? <thumbnail> http://marketplace.envato.com//item/rotating-gears-animation/87118 </thumbnail> <rating>0</rating> <id>45088</id> <user>ToyBoatHouse</user> </random-new-file>
See the thumbnail url
No extension and a double slash. Hope this gets fixed soon, I just submitted an iPHone app that relies on this =/
I wonder when this API will get fixed though. Its pretty broken at the moment.
Oh the API can definitely be expanded beyond just that. I’d like to have some POST requests so one could actually buy a product, or possibly withdraw money. Other things like provide iimages in th search call. It just seems to be missing things that don’t make sense. Why provide the thumbnail in random files abut not in the search. Just seems odd to me.
Edge is acting the same way. I think they are doing something with it right now
