Footer needs work as does some of the typography esp the sidebar titles
Support is not a requirement of any author (irrelevant of the numerous ones who provide first class support) so this will never be a cause for refund and envato cannot penalize authors for something that is optional.
Likewise updates are not compulsory as long as themes work with the latest version of software when released so again authors cannot be penalized for this either.
As for removing files – envato only remove files which are in breach of copyright or don’t work (in which case you would be allowed a refund), authors can remove files as and when they want and for whatever reason (envato don’t own copyright so have no control over this).
At the end of the day I appreciate it can be irritating (we have bought more than most and numerous have since been removed), however we pay a fractional cost for something worth thousands of $ so cannot expect the same level of support and redemption as if it were a custom project.
There is not one. Cloning sites is frowned upon for obvious reasons and in this case the site does not meet envato’s requirements on features etc as it is plus requires a substantially more complex backend than it may appear.
There are several good coupon and marketplace themes that could potentially be adapted by the right developer but would still require custom work
I do understand you but again be careful with emails – just because they are smaller and less interactive does not make them easier (especially making them work in all the different email clients). Good luck
With all due respect we have seen you try your skills with several different types of files in the past few months here from WP to HTML5 and a directory. It seems like you give up on these quite quickly?
And now onto an email? It seems slightly worrying when you talk about not being able to use tools on a Mac and not really understanding the way emails are constructed/the difference between MC, CM and standard emails. There are some epic email files on here but believe us when we say the Outlook issues and other challenges with emails can be worse than building any website. I know emails may ‘appear’ more simple and straight forward but that is not always the case
Please do not take this the wrong way, we are trying to be constructive. and based on the previous uploads we have seen from you here I think you would do better to spend the time brushing upon fundamental design skills first.
Either way we wish you luck and of course post your files here for initial feedback before submitting.
Why would be ‘only mailchimp’? Surely its all the same just with or without the “MC:Edit” tags?
I am pretty sure you can’t / wouldn’t do this either way.
I don’t see the problem – an email as Alex said is just HTML code you can create that on a Mac or a PC
