Yes tuts+ it is the best for learning nor cecesary for themeforest but for you to, it may help you get a job, for me it worked perfectly, after 6 months of studdy there i succeded to find a great job but if you want to be an author here it will take more from you not just tuts+
Yes you’re right ThemeProvince this must be a full time job to succed, i try to do this part time and it dosen’t really work.
Heloo, you don’t deisgn a theme “in this site” you design a theme that you can sell on this comunity. You just need to be patient and work hard, i myself try to get a theme here for an almost 2 years but i know it needs a lot of hard time and to be devoted to your couse. Good luck!
sorry “dzinc” thx for moving my post.
I am am a designer, i work now on 2 templates and i search for a developer to slice the template for me and make 50% each of the revenue.
Heloo, i sow your theme and the point is that the template is a bit loww, i see that the functionality is good, you neede to work more on the design. mabe on the main slider you can make like a seach filter for a car, that would be great and your proect may be aproved.
scottwills saidYes i understabd now, thank you for the info.
chitic_florin saidHello chitic_flori! Could you tell me where you are getting the “20%” from in relation to mockups? The only reference to “20%” that I know of is in these guidelines and it pertains to creating icon packs and selling them on GraphicRiver which must contain 20% of your own, original icons – see page 2 here and again on page 10.
So i have one question now, if we use one mock-up for example free distributed on the internet we still have to make 20% changes before use it?
